I'm mexican and I have no idea what a motomami means, she loves to invent new words.

 

To me, this is a truly bad album, lyrically is awful, the production is a mess. I hate reggaeton so...

 

But it's a fun album, not gonna lie.

it really comes from her mother being a motocycle rider, which is symbolically translated to a powerful and free woman, someone who is in control of her life. When she says "I'm a motomami, because my mother was also a motomami, and the mother of my mother was a motomami too" is to portray the importance of the feminine heritage that inspires her, and the dichotomy between being fierce and vulnerable. (a mother can be both strong and nurturing at the same time).

 

To be a motomami is to be someone who is willing to take risks. Basically, through the whole motomami thing she just wants to inspire other people into being that free and independent self, and to present herself as someone both "moto" and "mami".

 

Thats why each song falls into one category or the other, "moto" / "mami", and it's the reason the whole tracklist is meant to highlight that contrast between both sides.

This happened to me on various tracks! Diablo, LCV, Candy, Bulerias, DLR, and the balads minus Hentai to be specific. If you can't get into an album despising how hard you try, then just listen to the only tracks you really like and try later with the ones you consider growers or that eventually you'd like (if that even makes sense). Music is made for enjoy, don't force yourself on liking music that you just can't like

 

That being said, I didn't like the bulk of Motomami when it first came out nnnnn, but it's safely a grower of album

I love the new album, all my favorites were the ballads  but I've definitely grown to really love the bops aswell. 10 / 10 would recommend
