Perverts is amazing wow. I’m really letting it sink in. Amber Waves is already an all time favourite song for me. The project does not feel long at all. I’ve been reading Kafka’s Metamorphosis while listening to this in the background

This album is actually so incredible and atmospheric. Tbh I get that it isn’t some people’s thing but to me, it is such a signature Ethel record. Like almost every song on this record sounds like it stems from something unreleased or on PD. Genuinely convinced anyone shocked or truly turned off by this record hasn’t listened to anything besides her top 5 songs on Spotify lmao.

On my second listen, right as Perverts transitioned in Punish, it felt like the whole thing really clicked for me. My favorite song off PD is Ptolemaea and I feel like it matches the vibes of this project a bit.

I don't enjoy perverts personally because it feels way more like a film soundtrack than a standalone musical project. It would be the perfect soundtrack to a very creepy horror film though. The atmosphere of it reminds me of the blair witch project and silent hill.

What a pretentious piece of nothing. That 15 min track is a joke. Honestly this would be cool if this was an irony about modern art like banana taped to the wall but knowing this girl, she takes herself very seriously. It works as a soundtrack for a movie and you all mention some videos but I only care about music. As an album it's 40/100.
So yeah, just listen to Akira Yamaoka if you want some Silent Hill, his tracks are around 2 min long and you can actually hear the effort.
