TEMPORARY Chemtrails Over the Country Club - Pre-Release Thread: OUT March 19th, 2021

Recommended Posts

Since this interview happened July 28/29/30 (evidenced from the fact that she says she was leaving Tulsa at the beginning of it) and in the Tulsa Jesus Freak snippet (which was filmed in LA at her home on the last day of July) she has a mixer, I think we can safely conclude that the album was delayed so Dealer could be added!

She likely was just going over the final mixes again now that she added the last song, and just wanted to preview TJF; however, because she probably turned in the album to her label sometime last month as a result of still mixing in July/adding a song about a month before, the delay couldn’t be too long, because 1 extra song isn’t going to take a significant amount of time away from a digital release.

So, let’s say that since she added Dealer to the record by early August, then CD-turnaround would be done in time for a September 18th/25th release alongside digitals and then vinyls in November! That makes sense to me, especially with the estimated timeline of her doing those things, so I’m hoping this is the case!

I’m honestly so stoked after the interview. There were definitely cringed egotistical moments but they were balanced by interesting banter and some thoughts about personal lives and about the pandemic that I too have had so it’s kinda validating.

All the album description (as oblique as it is) gets me so hot for it. I love the idea of a country tinged folksy pop album because I know Lana would do it the right way.

she reminds me of kanye so much :derpna2:

What I like about Lana is she never tried to be perfect, she’s got plenty of flaws and irritations. Although it’s fucking irritating for fans what would be worse is a fake copy and paste pop singer Ava Max who never wants to put a foot wrong or shares their true self.

TJF snippet really reminds me of Carry Me Home by Jorja Smith (beautiful ass song & poem by the way highly recommend) with that bluesy percussion. Almost like an Amy song!!

I still haven’t listened to the snippet but if it’s similar to Carry Me Home, I’m probably going to love the song! You got me even more excited

I'll do it for the right reasons

So since this issue of  Interview Magazine was supposed to come out on Tuesday, I think LMLYLAW will be announced next week, as Lana magazine covers usually always come out once the lead single has already been released/is about to be released.

I think on Tuesday she’ll post the magazine cover.

On Thursday between 9 and 10 AM PST she’ll post the album cover and tracklist and say the album can be pre-ordered with LMLYLAW being made available with it as an instant-grat track; this would make more sense than having it be a proper single release if the album is still coming this month, at least we’re still hearing it before the album.

Friday 5 AM PST / 1 PM BST we can pre-order.

Then another magazine or two the following week.

Morning of Thursday September 17th - COTCC video

9 PM PST Thursday the 17th / midnight EST Friday the 18th - album drops on streaming services; CDs on the 18th.

November - vinyls available.
