i honestly think lmlylaw is classic. it's like a ballad from another era, which is perhaps why ppl stomp on it for being boring or whatever

Let Me Love You Like a Classic, indeed. :gclap:

Anyways, Chemtrails is a wonderful album

I asked Asmodeus (the demon of lust) to make Miley Cyrus suffer. I am not happy with these new developments. After Miley rips off Lana's aesthetic, she bullies Lana into changing her release date. It is infuriating.

when i think of LMLYLAW it reminds me of miss peregrine's cover photo for florence's wish that u were here, but also at nite where its like an edgier hallmark movie and the moonlight is bathing the farmland and there's like colder szn banging and everything's happening so fast and gravity is playin with us and then ocean balconies and caressing and then the pink sunrise and like tractor fun and driving off playfully and wagon rides and open skies and chewin hay riding at the back of a truck w full clouds against a blue sky

I've been saying that Chemtrails is the next Honeymoon in terms of fan reception (hated by most at first, but eventually becomes a fan favorite) :true:

Spoiler

lowk i stay a yosemite hater bc the poetry is not rlly up to her current standards. prob bc it's lfl era and her writing improved a lot in the time of a few years.

som about her rhyming change with change right out the gate

Same here! Yosemite is my favorite song on Chemtrails, so you can imagine my shock when so many people didn't like it :awkney: It's so beautifully intimate. The lyrics, although simple, hold a lot of emotion in them where you know Lana means exactly what she's singing. It doesn't need to have extravagant, metaphorical lyrics for it to get the feelings across. Waiting for Chemtrails to release this song was such a good choice - it fits into the album perfectly

The constant repetition and same-y instrumental throughout the song is actually my favourite thing about Yosemite. It matches the message of the song and her storytelling about things not changing at all. But I understand why some people wouldn't care about the song that much tho

I really want to live in this album. It’s so beautiful and confident in a quiet way. The production is delicate and graceful, and Lana’s voice just shines. I love it so much, I’m so happy this record was released the way it was because it’s really a gorgeous, cohesive, 11-track piece to just get lost in thought with. :flutter:
