Super random, but did you guys notice what she said about SoundCloud in that interview?

 

I wanted to ask about you showing up at Kevin Abstract’s Coachella set earlier this year to sing a cover of “Need You Now” by Lady A. Are you gonna drop a studio version anytime soon, or at least upload it to your SoundCloud?

I love that song, so maybe. But I would need to get my SoundCloud password back from Capitol. Yeah, they somehow got my password and locked me out of my account. It was a whole thing back in, like, 2018. It was maniacal, dude. People keep telling me I need to let go of the past, but the past is still very much my present.

 

I'm confused since she evidently got her SoundCloud back in 2018 & posted a whole song (Voices Carry), which she kind of acknowledges? Is she implying Capitol locked her out of the account again and is preventing her from posting more? How?

I wanted to post something now that it's back in my hands.I promise I will be posting a lot more stuff on here & will let you know more about my album. I just checked and her SoundCloud is still connected to her own personal email (lmao), so yeah… What a strange thing for her to lie about. 

 

Anyway, I'm excited for Leash to come out. Would be sweet if get more music but I don't want to get my hopes up for any album yet. Also, I think most people here prefer the Jorge Elebrecht-style songs—which I'm also a fan of—but I'm hoping for some more electronic/pop sounding traxxx like initially promised hehe

We need A24 or whoever she's working with to put her under more real deadlines. Apparently she was under a deadline for Leash and managed to get that song done in time.
