COCC was for the girls, because we got female scat porn in the pre-release thread. Also because she (mostly) sings about women. BB is for the boys because women can‘t drive John Deeres or Range Rovers (ask science) and we got male scat porn. Also because of the lyrics about her dad and lovers.

The beauty of it is that it's a collab. Miles is the dealer and Lana is the buyer. (At least that's how I think of it)

Spoiler

I think Miles is the trashy boyfriend telling her to not contact him via his Dealer or family and Lana is f*cking mad at him cause he's a loser

Just do it. Just do it - don't wait!

Oh yeah that'd make more sense.

Spoiler

I was thinking her dealer had his own dealer

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dealer Spoilers:

Spoiler

I think Lana and Miles are singing through the voice of the same person, someone who is mad at their partner and has decided to cut them off. Miles is the voice of reason while Lana represents the anger of the breakup.

In each verse Miles tells the ex not to attempt to contact them through people they're no longer in touch with like their dealer, father and doctor. In the chorus Lana is furious at the ex for being good for nothing and compares the ex to their dealer: they give them everything but get nothing in return.

In the outro the ex tries to ring the narrator but they won't pick up their phone:

555-9874-555

(idk this bit)

All circuits are busy, goodbye

All circuits are busy, you're high

All circuits are busy, goodbye

All circuits are busy, you're high

In the end the ex has become another of the people Lana/Miles has lost contact with. The message signifies the end of the relationship ('goodbye') and tells the partner that they're delirious ('you're high'). What do you guys think?

I love that Lana doesn’t do deluxe editions of her album anymore because of the damn bonus tracks that are always impossible to get legally on all platforms. But I’d be down for that RCS edition if she released it six months after release,

as long as it’s available everywhere  :flutter:

Lana don't want to do deluxe editions no more. That's how we will get more cohesive albums every 6 months.

Imagine if she kept Black Beauty and reworked it for one of her masterpieces that followed :oprah: It would have gotten a proper single release and a music video. :dua:

And by the way, we need Rock Candy Sweet as an album. As most of Blue Banisters got replaced including Love You Now and Then, we might actually get that (the Second album teased by Ben maybe). :brows:

But shouldn‘t you be in the kitchen making birthday cake, watching the chicken run barefeet and waiting for the baby that is on the way? :oprah3:

I really like this interpretation, but I don't get the analogy of "giving everything to a dealer and getting nothing in return." The dealer-consumer-relationship is usually quite well defined. You give them your cash, they give you the drugs.

Spoiler

Not always. Sometimes the dealer lies and takes money without giving their customer the real thing or anything at all

I meant more like getting nothing worthwhile in return. The dealer gives you the drugs in return for your money but it's only an artificial, temporary sense of bliss which quickly fades.

Edit: Also addiction may come into it. They're dependent on their dealer to give them a rush but the dealer is the only one who ultimately profits.
