I agree, I do think Cher and Lana are similar in many ways. I wonder if it is a nod to the movie. I'm assuming this pic of Lana was taken at the time the cover was being shot, and Cher Horowitz is rich (country club connection perhaps?), so that would be interesting if Lana is playing around with some Clueless aesthetics
