I think her cover will be more Frank Sinatra and Willie Nelson than it will be Ella Fitzgerald tbh

 

half because Ella’s vocals would be really hard for her to cover, and half because again, I don’t think jack has quite the range. I don’t think his take on it will be bad or anything, I just think it’s going to be less lanazzy than people are hoping

I kind of prefer the Willie Nelson version… the Ella version seems really hard for Lana to sing. I hope she adds her extra touch of melancholy to it as well like The Other Woman. 
 

Also yes, we love jazz Lana. However the Willie Nelson production has electric guitar.
