im thinking that lasso is scrapped… she does not seem to be enthusiastic about this record judging by the way shes talking about it, like she either has no useable material for it or is completely changing the concept of it  this lady was so much more enthused when she was talking about ANNOUNCING something on december 7th in 2022, and here she is talking about the record looking bored and as neutral as can be, even maybe a little annoyed

At this point, the vibes around this album are very strange. Kind of hope whatever comes next has a new name, 0 country vibes and is totally fresh. Lana seems so unenthused by it herself.

I really don't care whether or not it's maximalist or stripped down, but what I do care about's communication so. it's good that she actually mentioned the album. this waiting process is kinda annoying cus it's the bare minimum atm and I hate that, life goes on, but it's good to know that it's still a thing. 

I think everyone's or at least a lot of fans are kinda worried bc in Lana language that could mean anything, so I'm personally hoping she follows thru more consistently/ clearly. 

I'm wondering what all this time/space atmosphere talk she's talking about. how it might make her music be construed as etc. cus I feel like she should just be earnest and sincere and let it speak for itself, but I guess I personally can't be really bothered knowing she'll just randomly post things on some day.

married life perhaps? or maybe her relationship influenced her to rewrite some of the lyrics so she's in a weird in between phase where some lyrics are about a break up and other lyrics are about being with someone you know you'll marry, so then there's this weird clashing vibe? or maybe it feels awkward for her to work on and release music about an ex when you're married?

 

whatever the case, at least she's not going to bullshit the music itself. i'd rather have a good album over a rushed one any day. no more blue banisters for us this time. give me ocean blvd quality

I find that we have denigrated Jinn a lot, but in view of Lana's last statements it fits perfectly (the 5 at the end of the text can indicate as a surprise the marriage which took place about 5 weeks later) the last sentences do not make me thought of an insider but rather.... (I don't want to be ridiculous)

 

 

  Well friends, that's all! Before the summer, there was a dispute with a producer and some songs were reportedly removed. I saw the list of songs being considered for release and "Henry" is not on it, unless it has a different name.  I understand your doubts and given the whole Trump/Election thing, most artists wouldn't release anything during this time because it might be ignored by the media, but I've also been told that Lana refuses to do politics as there has been a lot of controversy surrounding her and her stance on the war in the Middle East. So I understand why she wouldn't want to make a major release before Thanksgiving/Christmas. Anyway, I've told you what I know, and for the sake of all of us, I hope we get some music sooner rather than later. Thank you for all your comments, even those from the skeptics. I will never return to this site again. I hope you all live wonderful, meaningful lives and I hope you enjoy Lasso! ❤️ Surprise coming in 5  Love, Jinn
