Ceremonials 2,893 Posted May 24, 2022 this album was such a unexpected gift for me. as a sober person i really appreciate her like not dropping the struggle after hah, like daffodil straight up sounds like it's about drugs to me. Like i realize this seems dumb but progress and healing obviously take years and forever and it was really nice to see an album that is a companion piece to the one before it in that way. It amazes me how she has average critical success, and not a large ‘powerful’ fanbase. She truly is 5/5. Not a bad album, nor bad song. It’s insane. A poet. A vocalist. A producer. A writer. A dancer. A performer. Get into it… Like genuinely can not believe she doesn’t have a GRAMMY. Rorman Nockwell 56,701 Posted May 26, 2022 It's taken me awhile to get into this album and my favourites atm are: Choreomania (it's so eclectic and crazy; very much up my alley) Daffodil (playing it REALLY loudly is fun) Dream Girl Evil My Love There are still a couple of songs I'm not super keen on (imo Back in Town is a snore and I can't get into Morning Elvis although the lyrics/storytelling is great) Ceremonials is Florence's equivalent of Honeymoon in my eyes and cannot be topped, but I like the album 3 Quote ur legit gonna look the same stop buying oil of Olay face cream Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
domandapiano 12,098 Posted May 26, 2022 I went on a run today and ended it with a fully body interpretive dance to choreomania in the middle of my street, as if I was possessed. The drums in the song are just so blisteringly wild and addicting. Highly recommend giving it a try, even if onlookers will assume you’re having some kind of episode.
