I got a theory that the album didn’t come out in september and probably won’t come out in may either because Katie Veltri has not posted anything on social media since 2023, a few months after Ocean Blvd dropped, and Lana has no one to take inspiration from now. There is no album. She’s announcing these “albums” wayyy in advance in hopes that Katie starts posting again and she’ll be able to rip her off like she’s been doing for years now.

I think that we're getting the first (promo? officially lead?) single in April. I mean, it'll make no sense at all to play at Stagecoach without at least *debuting* a brand new song there in case she doesn't release anything beforehand. The entire fandom will drag her to filth, lol. Not to mention that her presence at Stagecoach won't matter much. Is she just going to sing covers or country/folk versions of her hits? Make it make sense. Even if the album is delayed (a late summer/early fall release won't surprise me at all), she has to somehow address this upteenth delay by the end of May, and this time around we'd better have some concrete evidence that an album *is* on its way. I've defended her ass multiple times, but she needs to get her shit together.

But hope was a dangerous thing. Deep down, many were cautious—after all, Lana had made promises before.

 

As the sun dipped behind the California desert, the livestream finally began. Lana appeared on stage, bathed in soft, golden light. The crowd in the forum collectively held their breath. Could this be the moment? But then, she started to sing“All the ladies of the canyon” The crowd in the chat paused, unsure, giving her the benefit of the doubt. And so, the legend of the April 25th Stagecoach performance lived on, a moment of collective heartbreak, made only slightly better by the removal of the Barcelona Chair.
