I still can’t believe she married an alligator tour guide. 
 

and somehow this era is so boring that even her marrying the most random of people is still somehow very boring. I have been excited for every era before, this is the first one when I really don’t care. I just hope she takes the UK shows seriously as I’ve paid good money for the tickets.

I also get the BB vibes but it's actually the opposite in terms of the album process cause BB was rushed so she could put out the newer songs defending herself (or explaining herself, whatever she said) so she used a lot of unreleased songs to fill the spaces but Lasso/TRPWS has been in the works for years so she has a lot of different writing/recording sessions to choose from.

 

But it's still Lana so we'll only know when we get the tracklist

Ngl... if there's like 2 that's fine but we don't need more then that (3 unreleased if there's by some miracle a deluxe, in that case 3 extra songs one of them an unreleased)

Edit: I also would only want 2 unreleased if by some miracle there's no covers.

yeah, i'm almost checked out, too. I think "couple of new songs before stage coach" turning out to be another god-damn lie put me off this record completely, aka the final straw. 
 

it's like "whatever lana, your henry - which you've been edging us with for 15 months - isn't even that interesting.

 

We've already heard your low-key sat-on-a-porch-and-wrote-a-quiet-minimalist-song-for-myself folk era. It was called Chemtrails. It's not like we're in for a seismic shift in music in anything. We'll tots survive if you cancel it completely.

So, she said she'll play new songs at the festival: big whoop.
 

Firstly, she lies a lot... as we all darn know...so she might be playing Video Games, Bartender, and The Grants, for all we know.
 

Secondly, what she thinks is "new" might just be Tough, Country Roads, and, again, The Grants. Maybe Breaking Up Slowly with Niki, too.

 

So, I'll believe it when I hear it.

 

Also, Miley's new song is such an instant hit, I'd hate to follow that with a low-key ballad like Henry. Hoping Henry offers some surprises, if she even plays that.

 

shes not miley though, they are completely different genres. and so many of you guys are so negative like damn. the album is supposed to come out in may and so far shes on track to living up to her word as a single before stagecoach. like its a country festival, its not so out of this world for lana to play a couple new songs from her supposed country album at a country festival. i swear a lot of you guys lack common sense and you guys need to use your context clues more often. she doesnt "lie" for no reason, some stuff just never comes to fruition.

and really we never really got an official announcement for lasso. idk why she said all that but its not like we ever got a insta post for lasso saying it would be out in september. lowkey she probably forgot it was being recorded or something and didnt think it would be a huge deal considering how she acted whenever someone brought lasso up. when she announced rock candy sweet we still got blue banisters a couple of months later so she just seems confused on what she wants sometimes lol. but even then, she "announced" lasso was coming out 8 months before it was scheduled to release, so the album wasnt even finished yet. it really seems that lana was going to put out this full on country album but she stopped because she didnt recognize herself. and it also seems that she just reworked lasso into TRPWS but with more of her signature sound. since then she had a major life event so tbh it makes sense to me why we havent gotten this album yet and this is a normal roll out for her anyways. ocean blvd just barley turned 2 so its just her elongated time between announcements and album drops that are really annoying. but she seems excited for this new music so we just have to trust her and be patient.
