After 7 weeks I finally start to appreciate this album more, from being totally dissapointment for month at least. Alice, Free Woman and Sine are def top 3 while SL and SC are probably the only skips

i removed from my music collection bc i honestly just never saw myself registering to it. its not very relatable...mainly bc the lyrics lack any kind of introspection/commentary on the human condition (which imo is the primary purpose of art)

i'm sorry i seemed to offend you by the fact that i didn't much care for Chromatica...i really didnt think my criticism of a commercial album would be met with such backlash as to drag my personality, or my freedom to speak, into an argument.

 

but anyways, she still got excellent reviews from critics far more important than me so I guess it doesnt much matter what i think, or at least it shouldn't to elicit such a hurtful response...

this is a weird take because not only did Gaga came in the 2007-2013 music scene of no depth or unrelatable lyricism, her first album is literally unrelatable as well. This album is meant to be played at clubs and parties and you can tell. Not for a bookclub-type discussions

That's subjective though. You also stated "it's not very relatable" earlier on, which is also subjective -- personally, I've found many songs on Chromatica to be relatable, but obviously that only pertains to myself. Like I totally understand what you're trying to say, hon; I just think wording might be the issue here

This comment made me chuckle. No shade intended, I'm not sure how old you are but this comment just makes you sound very green!

 

Don't worry, when you get a bit older you'll see it's not so black and white. As an artist myself, when I was a lot younger I thought if it wasn't trying to say something deep it wasn't real art - in reality sometimes artists just want to make something entertaining to give people a good feeling. And that is just as artistic as uhh 'the human condition'.
