Trash Magic 28,472 Posted July 15, 2020 Fun Tonight is my favourite song from this album. The pre chorus especially reminds me of Hair which is top 5 lady gaga songs 5 Quote "It's 2011, and we should all be aware of exactly how fast technology is developing" - Lana Del Rey

Voignamir 4,286 Posted July 16, 2020 After 7 weeks I finally start to appreciate this album more, from being totally dissapointment for month at least. Alice, Free Woman and Sine are def top 3 while SL and SC are probably the only skips

Mer 62,537 Posted July 25, 2020 This album isnt bad by any means but affirming it had replay value over its debut week would be a lie i removed from my music collection bc i honestly just never saw myself registering to it. its not very relatable...mainly bc the lyrics lack any kind of introspection/commentary on the human condition (which imo is the primary purpose of art) 0 Quote ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹ 𓊔 I took the miracle move on drug 𓊔 ⚕️ The effects were temporary ⚕️ ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹

June Gloom 1,787 Posted July 25, 2020 "introspection on the human condition" is absolutely killing me the way replay has the most replay value on the whole album tho, she knew 7 Quote Got a devil on my back as a tribute to my mother

I think the issue moreso is your idea that only music that “talks about the human condition” can be classified as art, it’s pretty pretentious and false
Mer 62,537 Posted July 25, 2020 I think the issue moreso is your idea that only music that “talks about the human condition” can be classified as art, it’s pretty pretentious and false i guess what i meant was that i find the lyrics to lack any real depth or narrative, which i think all artists strive to do. i never said her work shouldn't be classified as art, i just said it misses the mark of what any artist would want to try to accomplish. 0 Quote ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹ 𓊔 I took the miracle move on drug 𓊔 ⚕️ The effects were temporary ⚕️ ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹

This album is meant to be played at clubs and parties and you can tell. Not for a bookclub-type discussions

That's subjective though. You also stated "it's not very relatable" earlier on, which is also subjective -- personally, I've found many songs on Chromatica to be relatable, but obviously that only pertains to myself. Like I totally understand what you're trying to say, hon; I just think wording might be the issue here ANYways... has anyone received their signed albums or jockstraps yet bc I'm still... impatiently... waiting

This comment made me chuckle. No shade intended, I'm not sure how old you are but this comment just makes you sound very green! Don't worry, when you get a bit older you'll see it's not so black and white. As an artist myself, when I was a lot younger I thought if it wasn't trying to say something deep it wasn't real art - in reality sometimes artists just want to make something entertaining to give people a good feeling. And that is just as artistic as uhh 'the human condition'.
