jk i get your point, but i truly love when artists put effort into making a booklet. sometimes it really adds to the physical concept imo.

The run of Call on Me, Attention Whore, Pineapple Slice, Kick in the Head, and How Long is sooooo insanely good. It’s a crime that the official tracklist wasn’t set up that way. 
 

Also, the change in the drop for the last chorus of Kick in the Head is so filthy in the best way possible.

Not me only just now learning that the lyrics are:

 

• “I don’t want suburbia” not “I don’t want to burn me out”
• “1, 2, grapefruit” not “1, 2, breakthrough”

  

 

I was wondering why grapefruit was called that. I thought there was some hidden story/meaning that she just didn’t mention in the song. I thought suburbia was obviously describing suburbia so it didn’t need to say the word.

i think it works really well imo lol. just wish that maybe the composition was a bit different, like if after the second chorus she immediately went into 'when im hurting, every time i have a bad day..' and the lil instrumental break that comes right before it was added as a part the outro it would make it better.

but Pitchfork always does very shitty reviews, don't they?

I actually enjoy the album very much besides Cute & Cruel and two more songs that I won't mention because they would earn me a ban but I'd say overall the album is a very solid 84 at least.

I check out every review. 5 and below isn’t super common actually  Most reviews are in the 6-7s

I just read the review and I personally couldn’t agree less tbh. This album is many things but lethargic is not one of them… I also have trouble believing they miss the vulgarity of previous albums because I just know they would’ve dragged her for “regressing now that she had full control” or some bs like that.

sadly Tove postet a story today that she has food poisoning. She canceld the show today in Brussels. Does anyone think that she will perform in cologne tomorrow? I don’t think so. Hopefully she will get well soon
