Her songs are barely ever sent to radio, nothing from the entire HIFN campaign was pushed at radio. 1999 was the last one that got sent to US radio, BIOYL didn't even get an impact date. So the majority of her "official singles" don't even go to radio anyway. So the fact that New Shapes got an official music video & (cancelled) SNL performance slot gave it more promo than the majority of her previous singles from XCX3 & 4. I just feel that investment could've gone to another song.
the ocean 67,601 Posted January 20, 2022 so the tracklist we got so far is: 1. 2. new shapes 3. good ones 4. 5. beg for you [there's a track length for this placement on itunes and we all know beg for you is the next single so it's safe to assume] 6. move me 7. baby 8. 9. 10. yuck 11. lavender 12. don't think twice

Like the other user said, the two performances are almost always an official single and a promo single… and considering Good Ones was still bubbling under on radio at the time, it’s clear which song they were truly pushing.

What? When. If they do, what a waste of time. promo singles usually don’t have videos but whatever-it was never marketed as a promo release so you can keep the narrative.
