Even the tracks she’s released from this album so far have been really good
Candy Necklace 7,154 Posted October 18 her Halsey impersonation is probably the worst one tbh Amy Lee is the best one

rightofjupiter 16,470 Posted October 21 4 DAYS til the record...the snippets have been absolutely killer and i cannot wait to hear the whole record, imo really seems like she's putting every kind of sound she's ever explored into it, even more so than manic, and she is slaying them all. imo ego and lucky sound like the weakest songs so far and i liked them fine.
rightofjupiter 16,470 Posted October 25 Been listening to TGI all day and it is incredible!!! Favs so far: only girl in LA dog years letter to god (1974) (love the trilogy) panic attack darwinism lonely is the muse arsonist life of the spider the 3 album run of manic —> love/power —> tgi is nuts tbh
how the light shines in 2,638 Posted October 25 Sobbed to '74, I Believe in Magic, '83, Life of the Spider (Draft), Hurt Feelings and '98 at 1am on my couch last night. Decided to burn it all down to Dog Years and Arsonist. Darwinism is a spiritual experience. It's a fucking masterpiece, my favourite work from her so far. If she doesn't tour this in Australia I'll never recover. 3 Quote 𝙸𝚝’𝚜 𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚒𝚐 𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚎, 𝙸𝚝’𝚜 𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚂𝚢𝚕𝚟𝚒𝚊 𝙿𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚑

Anonymcomenter 4,670 Posted Friday at 03:54 PM Im loving this!!! She’s so versatile yet she has such a distinguished style for an album called The Great Impresionator! Her lyrics are always so raw and direct, yet poetic! I also love how she touched the subject of her sickness in some songs (from the singles I didn’t think she was going to). On my first listens my favourites in no particular order are: - Dog Years - Panic Attack - Ego - Lonely Is The Muse - I Believe In Magic - Darwinism - Arsonist - Hurt Feelings - Life of the Spider (Draft) - I Never Loved You so far her most chill album, I would even call it almost country at some points. But unlike other (TS I’m looking at you) the stripped down instrumentals make sense and don’t make it boring. Really 90s overall! I love the direction she’s going with this, for a minute I was scared after listening to So Good (maybe her worst single ever, so mid I can’t put into words), but she took her time after IICHLIWP and delivered once again! She’s going for critical acclaim, sadly she’s far behind her successful days. Dog Years is specially touching, love the metaphor and the theme of that song the vibe is vibing
Cum Sock 616 Posted Friday at 07:57 PM Alice of the Upper Class is so good . Ashley better get that shit on Spotify soon. Digital deluxe bonus tracks are so dumb. Why couldn’t it just have been on the Target CD? Anyway the record is an absolute masterpiece.

Embach 40,298 Posted Saturday at 12:08 PM I listened to Gasoline for the first time since 2018 and I forgot how good it was It was my favorite Halsey song, maybe it still is. I love the Asian instrumental elements in the intro. And there was also this popular mashup with Marina's Savages which used to have a chokehold on me, I love the instrumental version of Gasoline more there, it's more down pitched.

Cum Sock 616 Posted Saturday at 03:43 PM There’s another digital deluxe on her website with a song called “Nothing” it’s not as good as the Alice song. Someone uploaded a really good video of her show in Brooklyn from last night, Lonely Is The Muse is so good live.
