Now do I think it was predatory like his other encounters probably not as much. I’ve always felt Lana is the type of person knows what she’s doing. Good or bad, toxic or empowering. She is the master of her own decisions. He could have been courting her or maybe they did have relations, who knows. If they did I think she had more control than others in similar situations, ala you scratch my back and I scratch yours. Either that or she found his status and position enticing and had a fling w him willingly. I’ll be raked over the coals for saying this but there is a certain power in having control over your sexuality and doing what you want with it, even if it is advantageous. I don’t think Lana was some Bambi caught in the crossfire! Either way something happened there. We will never know. I def think whatever happened it ended with a bout of sour grapes. I’ve always thought Harvey was the one who blocked or had someone block Young and Beautiful @ the Oscars. Another note on this topic, even if this “relationship” is what gave Lana the opportunity to work on these soundtracks it’s not what made them as prominent and popular as they were. She did that! I guarantee you any other artist covering or penning original tunes for the movies she did at that time would not have been as well received. (She just thought he was interested in her). And maybe she only realized this when the reports of the harassed women started to appear and she noticed his "pattern" of behavior. The women who reported him reported the same "type" of approach. And they even said that when they questioned the fact that he was married, he replied that "his wife didn't care" (What do we have in the song "Cola"?). So it makes me think that he approached her the same way he did with all the other women (And it makes my blood boil). But it also makes me think: Would she be so naive as to not realize what was going on? Well, I don't know. Nobody knows what really happened... I don't like to talk about it, because I hate to think that Lana may have had some kind of "relationship" with this asshole despicable. That's kinda funny about Maeve though - they used to be bestttt friends towards the start of her career (and I assume Maeve styled her along with or before JohnnyBlueEyes), but the last time they were pictured together was near the start of 2014. I remember all the iconic pap shots & videos with Maeve in them from the early days.
