My only explanation to what has happened to Melanies artistry is that with time she has become more camp to the point of becoming a drag queen. She’s pretty much givin Azaelia Banks, Iggy Azalea, Fergie Cartwheeling, Hilary Duff dancing, Mariah Carey talking about 9/11, Nicki Minaj livestream,…   That’s pop star status right there

 

Theres no way she’s not being ironic with these concepts; the “penis in your mouth” lyric, a song about periods (YUH), that ugly alien costume, some production choices, the ex diss tracks, Spider Song, the messy / horrible promotion etc.

 

Its impossible in my mind that the same person that came up with the idea of Crybaby is doing all of this in a serious way, she must be half trolling

I’ve made a few jokes about things she’d do this era that ended up coming true (ex: the dancing around Crybaby’s grave out of legit nowhere during the breakdowns in DEATH), but I didn’t think she’d ACTUALLY make a promotional appearance as the new creature, vocal modulation and all, I just thought it’d be funny if she did (and it absolutely is).

okay but obviously she is not gonna go on forver with the creature thing, yes we know that's still crybaby just evolved or in a different form, but i dont see her doing this for the next era too, would be too much, so my question is, how is it gonna end?

is Crybaby gonna change form once again for the next era? is Melanie gonna leave the Crybaby storyline after this with the concept of inifity (life is death is)?
