The producer of the video was interviewed and I'm pretty sure he stated that there was never really a witch theme to begin with. 

 

However, she might have seen what people were talking about and compounded with her own interest in witchcraft decided to take on that theme. 

 

And I agree, I hope she doesn't use that for the album cover.
