Listening to the Lust For Life instrumental, I think I would have really loved this song had there not been Abel's unnecessary & annoying voice in the chorus. I need a version with pure Lana.

i have a feeling this song sounds incomplete because abel's voice doesn't add too much to lana's, with the way they sing it wasn't complimentary enough, if Abel had dropped the falsetto at some point I would have gotten some closure perhaps

Since people don't really 'buy' music anymore, a lot of musicians earn coins through video/audio streams (views). Also it helps in promoting the album so the most commercial song is chosen for a video treatment to draw in a mainstream audience.

 

But yes, of course, she should have dropped it around the album release when the hype was sky high. Now it feels kinda late for promotion.

our babe Lanz gets so much #hate for the collabs on this record but I think its kinda heartwarming. You can tell its like a big achievement for her, to have worked with Sean and Stevie, and that she really wanted to have people she's friends with on the album, too- ASAP & The Weeknd, both of whom she's been close with for ages, its just so.. wholesome

The Stevie collab is pointless though. It's not a duet and it makes no sense to have two singers sing it. Apart from that, I hate how their voices are produced differently. It seems like a collab for the sake of it.

Abel is just annoying and LFL is as gemeric and basic as everything from his discography
