I always thought "Sad Girl" sounded a bit asian at the intro...


I get what you mean, but nah, it's actually one of the most bluesy moments on the album, which is a genre influenced by African music. The hammond organ (or whatever variation they use in the song) is present in blues, progressive rock, psychedelic rock and reggae, all genres found in UV.

We will never get an album like this again.

Ugh, this era was an experience. The quality of the music (Lana realizing she sounds best singing rock/over a guitar), the sarcastic lyrics, the visuals, the festivals, the interviews.

Ugh, this era was an experience. The quality of the music, the sarcastic lyrics, the visuals, the festivals, the interviews.

 

The interviews were all a damn mess  :rip:  I guess they were an experience though
