I woke up this morning and looked out the window and the sun was still there so I figured the world didn't end.
 
Yesterday while this was going on Chuck's Instagram story had some pictures of food. I think one was a bowl of cherries. Probably made before this whole thing.
 
I got this image of all of them in California. The whole family living in one big house. But it's not a home it's an asylum!
 
Charlie doesn't live there and is kind of bummed he may have to visit this holiday weekend.
Patty is in a room upstairs knitting and rocking back and forth in a rocking chair. She's thinking, "I knew she was no good".
Rob is in another upstairs room wearing a little sea captain's hat. He spends the day looking through a telescope. He is looking for whales or land. Occasionally he will burst out, "Land Ho".
In the backyard is a shed on fire and Lana is standing nearby. She is trying to eat an unpeeled lemon while dragging her nails down the side of her face. She is screaming.
Chuck is in the kitchen and can be heard yelling, "OK everyone the cherry pie is finished, get it while it's hot".

I kind of like this last little video she posted. But the subject matter and the whole day, out of the blue, our precious Lana may be more damaged than we thought. Not a put down but an observation. Some deep seeded stuff rising to the surface. My love and prayers Lana.

I must say I am very disappointed. I'm sure years ago Lana's management threw their hands up in the air when trying to deal with Lana. Albums, tours, interviews, promotion etc. need planning and structure and at some point Lana said let me just do things on a whim as my muse guides me. OK fine so now we know how stuff works in Lana land. We deal with it. But to post something on Mother's day referencing "Mothers" and clearly leave your own out is kind of immature. YES as adults we get to choose our friends our "family" and hopefully surround ourselves with people that support us and we can support. Lot's of people have a bad relationship with their parents and there is no law that says you need to have anything to do with them. Lana's Mom may be a flaming asshole but Lana is not 16 and she is not you or me. When she posts to millions of people clearly disrespecting her mother it has to be hurtful and it is just plain adolescent.

Listening to God Knows I Tried with headphones. Lana's voice is getting me back on track as to why any of this is a part of my life.

TMZ the TV show just touched on this while I was trying to watch Fandango. Anyway they didn't say much but commented that most songs that make it to #1 are because of the beat and not the lyrics. Harvey talked about KC and the Sunshine Band who had a lot of hits but the lyrics were a joke. Just their take, in and out. OOPS sorry.
