"Pretty when I cry" sounds fucking epic, can't wait to hear that one.

"Fucked my way up to the top"... cola controversy x100. It sounds like a BIG pill to swallow.

Buckle up bitches. If Lana is ~trying~ (keyword:trying) to release another "short film" (I don't think I want to classify TROPICO as a short film, it's just three music videos tied together with a story, but that's a whole different discussion) and it's handled in the same fashion as TROPICO, then we are in for one hell of a ride. I love that she's interested in showing us these projects that she does because we know that's she always been fond of making videos and telling stories, but I don't think that TROPICO was handled in the best fashion. If she wants to do another one, then she needs to have the full support from her label (something I don't think she had the last time around) and they need to handle things properly. With proper release dates, proper venues, and proper promotion. And if it does wind up being like Ride and National Anthem, then I'm going to rip my eyeballs out because those are not short films, they're done up music videos (in my opinion).

Lana is a giving person. She made those titles to give Lorde material for her new album. Until now Lorde has this titles:
    WC - The L.A Favelas
    Old Money - New Poor
Money, Power, Glory - Food Stamps, Discount & 1$ Shop

I really think Old Money was written for/around Gatsby time but never made it on the movie soundtrack in favour of Y&B. We can never be sure but I'm sure the song is def post-Paradise. I'm really excited to hear more of West Coast's sounds on the album. Love how she keeps it raw, indie and unconventional (that half time chorus, and that lead at the end mhmmm.)

We need to give that lead a name tbh... reminds me of aliens (Bel Air tease). Bye Autotuned Loon, hello Autotuned Spaceship.

You can have a long album without having to resort to filler tracks. I'm sure Lana would've gave us quality either way, I only worry that they may keep the UV outtakes under lock and key.

    Short albums >>> long albums

    Sorry.

I'd rather listen to 11 flawless track than a filler album.

Yes, but Paradise was both an EP and a rerelease.

BTD may have 15 with the bonus, but we still don't know if we're getting a deluxe version of Ultraviolence
  21. The Siren liked a post in a topic by Rem in Ultraviolence - Pre-Release Thread
    BTD has 12 songs.

So I don't see what the problem is.

    Paradise has even fewer.

It says 11 new songs, but maybe she threw in a few leaks and/or covers. Wishful thinking. Haha.

So, we have "West Coast', "Cruel World", "Money, Power and Glory," and possibly "Black Beauty."

My expectations are incredibly high for this album. This really has the potential to be a huge breakthrough with critics and the Grammys. It should also continue the commercial success she experienced with BTD, if WC's sales are any indication of public interest.
