when you instantly know if a photo is new because you have seen virtually every lana photo in existence

Edit: once my friend drew some eyes, and just by looking at her drawing of these eyes I knew it was Lana and what photo it was from

Praying it's not just Mavis and Jupiter randomly walking on the studio machines

As often tends to happen, again i'm addicted in listening to Marina's songs.
You know the problem with Marina... it keeps coming back like weeds.
 
I must say that Starring Role must be her best song, along with Teen Idle, Lies, Valley of the Dolls and Sex Yeah. Also, it's a shame I haven't heard the entire Froot album yet (that intro with Blue makes me switch to other album/artist) and The Family Jewels. I'll listen to then asap.
Would be pleased to see another album like Electra Heart, it's so damn good and iconic.

I really wanna know what it means. I would love to see the character of electra come back in someway

I'm feeling nostalgic, that tour was one of the best concerts I've attended and I used to be so addicted to her   I still love you bltch 

Ooo, Marina posted kind of a cryptic post on instagram. Following two other Neon Nature tour throwbacks, she posted the photo below captioned "1 day I'll write you a letter and I'll tell you everything."

I wonder what it could mean! I can't help but feel nostalgic by this post of her haunting yet intriguingly gorgeous tumblr posts she used to make back in the day of Electra Heart. The way the photo is filtered and the mysteriousness of the caption.. so evocative. I miss Electra dearly, she means a lot to me -- and I don't think I've ever related to someone more that I did her.. except for miss Holly Golightly. I'll be looking at this post for days wondering what it means while soaking up the Electra throwbacks it gives... A girl can dream.

Fan commented: "Omg I honestly thought we'd had to wait so much longer for new music, and I was fine with that if it was what you needed but I can't deny this makes me incredibly happy."

She's been feeling "fatigued" for a long time now but she's starting to deal with the problem... I hope she is OK and dealing with this appropriately.

She believes in a God now... Interesting. I wonder if this would influence her music in any way. 
 
Personally I am hoping for an angelic/celestial album, with very beautiful and dream-like sounds, possibly images of flowers and blossoms and ancient Greece, considering she has taken a lot of interest in posting these things as of late. I feel like each album her voice becomes less "harsh" and more "soft". TFJ was very raw and grainy (in a good way), and although that raspiness was still present on some tracks on EH overall she started to vary her voice from that darker, heavier sound to more softer tones. On FROOT I feel like her voice was a LOT more relaxed and not so deep and aggressive (not the best word choice, but I hope you get the gist).
 
If she follows this pattern, I really think she could deliver something very peaceful and heavenly, with calm and soft vocals. She also seems to be looking after herself a lot and her relationship with Jack seems very healthy (unlike her past relationships) so I think she's in a good place and I'm hoping this is translating into a really divine, beautiful album.
 
Either way, I cannot wait until we hear new material from her. It feels like such a long time ago we got FROOT, and even though I personally love it and still listen to it quite regularly, I am getting a bit thirsty for new material from Marina. She's one of my all-time favorite artists, it's just a shame she isn't able to release music more regularly.
