so rn i think it's really gonna be 30/8 bc the guy from the first store was really confident about it. the girl from the second one is obv just an employee that just repeats info from their website. i'll call the other russian stores tomorrow since many of them don't work at this time in the evening.

i'm russian so i decided to contact one of those russian stores (https://checkpoint.com.ru/katalog/katalog/muzyka/vinyl/lp/lana-del-rey-norman-fucking), the guy who answered seems pretty familiar with the situation, i guess he owns the store. i asked about the release date, he confirmed nfr's gonna drop on the 30th (info from universal) along with the vinyl on his site bc "it's a huge release for us". he said there's no more info about the album and mentioned lana  being lazy not sharing anything early with her previous albums. he guesses we'll see the cover in 2 weeks and he'll post the tracklist closer to the release date. forgot to ask about the ltd vinyl color    you can still guess and make it to 3000 pages here

y'all theorising about lana's charting position... the woman is a seasoned musician and if we have learned anything from this year of pain it's that she's clearly just releasing music for her own artistic satisfaction nowadays... who cares where she charts lmao

 
 
just went back and read the first page of this thread and this almost made me laugh like an insane person... have we really been waiting this long

I was wondering... Could she have reworked the album entirely? I know it sounds crazy, considering how lazy she is, but the album was supposedly been finished and mastered since early 2019. And from what we've heard, almost every song (if not every) were piano ballads. And that's not very different from what we've heard in former albums.
And even though they were just snippets, and the actual songs could progress and develop into something else like Venice Bitch... I don't know, if this album is very different as she said, could she have reworked it?

She’s never been about that - even Interscope knows that and it’s why they’ve given her so much freedom to release what she wants when she wants. The only thing that’s kept Lana going and signed is the cult like nature of the fan base tbh.

I know you're unhappy with your pathetic life, LanaCharts, but please don't project your unwarranted negativity on everyone else. Trust me, she has a career and has established herself as a great artist with a loyal fanbase. Thanks!
