Tbh her speech made me realise how burnt out she was after the recording process of Lust For Life. I mean, nice if we would have gotten the B-sides album but what would have happened after that, if she never met Jack. She admitted to have a writer's block as well. Hate Jack or not, he has inspired Lana a lot!

Also reads a little bit like a slap in the face to Rick Nowels, Emile and her other old producers.
 
I miss the times she would mix up the producers. Going from Emile to Dan to Rick was superb, each album having a different vibe.

i agree somewhat, but the point of her speech is to elevate jack and to make sure people in that room know how influential he is, especially to her. lana knows she was something before jack, but jack undoubtedly helped her get out of her comfort zone and make some of the best albums of her career. i mean c’mon, if it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t have the entirety of NFR and the jimmy part in a&w! i think those are good enough reasons to like him. and lana does give herself credit, she just likes to share her success with people she has worked with, and there’s nothing wrong with that

There have been too many positive Sky threads lately, so as nature must balance itself, Sky has been caught red-handed telling another lie to shift blame onto Capitol Records and absolve herself of the failure that is her career. Sky's history of pathologically lying with hints of Munchausen Syndrome and narcissistic tendencies had been extensively documented in the ATRL thread:

In a brand new interview, Sky has talked about being locked out of her Soundcloud account and still to this day needing to get her password back from Capitol Records to be able to release stuff and how "the past is still the present" (whatever that means).
 
Well, in fact, the past is not the present as Sky regained access to her Soundcloud back in 2018 and posted her Voices Carry cover and promised to post more stuff and album news (this never happens).
 
 
As Sky continues to lie and deflect any responsibility about her career choices, will 2025 finally be the year Miss Ferreira starts delivering on her promises or will she keep on giving yet another tired interview about how Capitol Records is the boogeyman still holding her Leash?

Oh absolutely. The emotional range (happiness, nostalgia, guilt, sadness, love) on the track is present as much in Charli's vocals as AG's production. I honestly can't listen to it without crying. Like me in the club at 3am trying to reconcile with an ex.

I am really shocked there isn't more discussion about So I? An absolutely beautiful, if slightly gut-wrenching, tribute that deserves much more praise.

The way she proved everyone doubting her decision to make That the album cover wrong, I love to see it!
