I'm loving the atmosphere she created: these lush strings, Lana crooning and those chants on the background. The more I listen to it, the more I love it. It's not a party song for sure, you have to listen to it alone and it will make you "dreaming away your life".

I like the song as a whole, all these layers of "instruments" plus the echo effect on her voice. Try listening to it in full blast while being exhausted and close your eyes. It's tripping. I just wish I could hear her beautiful voice more distinctly, that's what I love about LDRAKALG. But different is great right?

I'm so glad she's putting out a new album bc it means new promotional stuff: photoshoots, interviews (hopefully), TV shows etc. Lana storm is gonna hit again.

It doesn't surprise me that she has chosen this title. It just reflects the last two years of her career. She used to say everything was nice and easy, but since VG came out everything has changed for better and, equally, worse. Ultraviolence is the perfect title, I'm looking forward to listening to her ultraviolent swing. And honestly, I think she puts out a new album so early on because of the terms of her contracts... Am I the only one?

That little Lorde thinks she knows what she's talking about but she doesn't. She's 16 and likes to think she's mature and aware of grown-up world. Being a feminist doesn't mean you shoving your female-right-oriented request to everyone throat. To me being a feminist is to be confident, to live the life you want, and to have the same rights as the men. What kind of image does she thinks she has on young girls? Everytime I see a teenage girl/boy becoming famous I cringe. The main message they leave to young kids is that's OK to leave school and becoming an entertainer. Call me old-fashioned but I think it's not.

What catches my attention more that the homeless man next to the gorge Lana is: her scalp. It seems like she just dyed her root which means she's not going back to blond/red haired Lana anytime soon.

The end of Lana Del Rey and the revival of Lizzy Grant? Married Lizzy with husband, children and no more music? Who knows, she says lots of weird stuff. Let's wait and see.

90% of them will regret getting those impulsive tattoos one day or another, probably sooner than they think. I love Lana but I will NEVER get a tattoo from her monologue - not to even mention her face - on my body. Tattoos are meant to be forever and should have a meaning, to me only Angelina Jolie's tattoos have a sense (her kids, cambodian prayers for her son, "know your rights") because she's committed to these people and actions. Lady Gaga's unicorn?

What I like about Lana is that ever since VG came out, she has always been that healthy looking girl. Not skinny mini nor chubby. She looks good - I bet she could go back to VG era body in no time. But thing is: people should not take model's body as a reference, those peeps are a minority and most of these super toned, skinny girls spend much time of their days focusing on diet and exercise. I'd rather have Lana focusing on music and video projects.

At WhateverShow Award - Adele & Lana bumping on each other : Adele: Hi! Y&B is beautiful, I love Jay-Z and his work. Lana: Yeah yeah I know. Nice tattoo btw. Adele: Lana: Adele: That's an uncomfortable situation for Adele. I feel bad and unoriginal when I meet someone having the same shirt or shoes on the street, tattoos are supposed to be forever, that's power x1000.

People should not over analyze each and every sentence and words especially when it comes to Lana. What I learnt from being a fan of her is that she is inconsistant, she answers with her favorite recycled answer so the interviewers will skip to another questions and end the interview as fast as she can, she changes her mind like she changes her nail polish and she's a very secretive person. I'm pretty sure what she said out loud wasn't necessarily what she meant because she doesn't develop her answers. She cuts her answers in the middle of her thread of mind because she's afraid of saying too much. And then again she'll feel that nobody gets her and that it's her against the world. It's Lana get used to it peeps.

I think mainly American will feel bad about this interview. If I were American I would... But I'm not. The feeling I get from this interview is that she's weird and socially awkward because her interests are disconnected from the real world's issues. She's really into her thing and forgets about the rest. I liked the interview though. I like her "I don't give fuck anymore, I'm no longer trying to please you" attitude.

Lana seems to be the sweetest girl on earth. And she also seems to be genuinely surprised and touched by the fact that some professional actually get interested in her work and inspirations other than her look. She sounds like an undiscovered artist being interviewed... Which is kinda awkward due to the fact that she's been on a sold out tour for almost 3 months.

I used to follow a lanadelrey instagram account for quiet a long time, there were no photo though, then it disappeared on my followed list. And ta-dah it reappeared! Wonder why the two Grant sisters keep posting photos of their father but - almost/barely - post anything about their momma. They're def daddy's girls.

I wonder how it feels to have a super star in the making doing your "little things" and then realize it years later, I'm thinking about Madonna being a backup dancer to some singers or having Mariah Carey as your background vocals. And in that case having the now-so-popular/award-winning/million-ablum-selling/object-of-million-fans'-fantasies Lana Del Rey whispering on your chorus. I find it interesting, it makes you realize that they are just human like us after all, not only pop/super stars.

Off to the (fucking) Races is one of her best song. The lyrics, the melody, the voice and that beat! It could have done wonders. But idk, she seems to not really liking it. I know she doesn't like the way TIWMUG ended up. Maybe OTTR, TIWMUG and Diet Mtn Dew don't reflect the music phase she's in right now, too bad girl, too hip hopish maybe. I would love to have a LDR album made up with songs such as KOL, Serial Killer or Put The Radio On.

I watched the first two seasons in a week. I love the show, kinda embarrassing when someone gets in the room while a hot scene in playing though but it adds some bonus right?!. I like the tension, the political game and manipulation. But I lost both arms at the "witche's evil shadow pregnancy" that was a wtf moment. Too far for me. Anyway I can't watch the show now, I 'll be so excited for the next episode to come out that I'll be thinking about it the whole week. I'm keeping it for the summer. My fav is deanerys and her cute little dragons, Tyron, Cercei, that little blond bastard (ohh love to hate him). Sansa is so useless, I hope she develops a personality in the 3rd season.

The mystery around who she really is, what she really did, what's part of a marketing coup or not are what make Lana Del Rey so exciting. Those are the reasons why people keep talking about her. These and her beauty. Her music sort of comes second, sadly. It puzzled me a lot back in sept 2011. I was wondering whether she was just a random beautiful girl with a voice who got picked by a record label à la Britney Spears/Rihanna. Or a really smart, talented girl who wanted to be recognized and who was ready to do a lot of things for success to happen. I have had my answer for a while now. I'm quiet good at reading and guessing people's intention by the way they speak or act in real life. I feel like I know who Lana Del Rey is but since I've never met her, I can be 100% wrong. To me she is a very sensible, genuinely nice person but she can also have a bitchy attitude. She's a stubborn, doesn't necessarily listen to people who want to give her advices. She's a homie girl who dreams and craves adventure. She's shy with strangers who know her and the one who want to know her ; but she isn't with the one who have no idea of who she is. She has ambition, she is smart, she knows how to deal with the media and she has a very clear vision of what she wants and what she wants people to see. She is a business woman. She's very controlling over her image. She's talented as well as a worried and happy person. She created LDR for the image. LDR is LG. Lizzy is cute and giggly while LDR displays Lizzy's inner cold sexy femme fatale. The image of a woman that she finds attractive and beautiful. What she wanted to be but couldn't be in real life. I don't see her pout 24/7 with her family but LDR can.

Is it me or does Barrie's voice is very similar to this guy's?
