On her instagram story the other day, Lorde said that this tour was going to act as a "farewell" to the album, so it seems like she's eager to devote more time in the studio again, which is exciting because that means L3 will probably have less distance between Melodrama than Melodrama and PH had, time wise! It would be really cool if in the next year or so, she released a b-sides record. It could be like a dual album. 
 
The Pure Heroin Sessions ("Side A") with Good Fights, Lost Boys, another outtake and then 2-3 demos (maybe even a studio version of this new Ribs tour remix she played at Milwaukee) and then...
The Melodrama Sessions ("Side B") with Precious Metals and maybe 2 other tracks and a few demos or remixes

It just occurred to me that if she hadn't re-done UV right at the end, it would've sounded more like Honeysnooze and not be the legendary record we know today. Honestly she needs to drop Rick so I can get a UV2

I think where LFL falls flat is the kind of off-key blend of Lana trying to mature her songwriting & also trying to push out bops. It's an all over the place kinda album but I'm grateful for it

Siegfried is THAT song, Ivy + Pink & White are side by side legends, Nights is FLAWLESS, Pretty Sweet genuinely revived me, Close To You is beautiful, I mean I could go on and on, there are so many incredible moments on that album, it's truly the most innovative, personal and best album of 2016

I really truly hope Lana wins at the Grammys. The only real competition in her category is Ed Sheeran (and maaaaaybe Gaga?), she's gone for so long snubbed by awards shows but she's had such an undeniable impact on pop music, there are famous artists now that wouldn't be making the music they're making if it wasn't for Lana's already iconic legacy. BTD changed shit. I just want her to finally be recognised for her talent, her contribution, her years of hard work.
