When I say that I think the new songs have topped UV and HM, I'm speaking subjectively and based on my perspective. It's nothing authoritative. These songs so far have a different atomosphere that really resonates with me more than the content on Ultraviolence and Honeymoon. You think that her songwriting isn't at her best, I think some of these songs are her most well written in years. I don't need to go back and listen to them again, because I've heard them enough times to form my own opinion about new music.

How could anyone be complaining that we didn't get FIILY when we have The Greatest. And we don't even have to feel that badly for listening because we bought it legally on a major streaming platform. That's on Google, not us

It really is. I've always believed in her, but NFR feels like her life's work has been heading to this moment.

Holy shit it's brilliant and makes all the songs we know already and their placement in the track listing make perfect sense. This song sounds like the thesis of the album (if not her entire career) and makes knowing that Hope ends the album extremely powerful. The last minute just gutted me omg.

I know I can choose not to listen, but that's not that realistic because spotify plays throughout the office every day at work, and my friends will certainly be playing her new songs when we're all hanging out this weekend, so I won't be able to avoid hearing if they do get released. And I definitely don't want my first listen to be in the background speakers at work lol.
