Wait i feel like im the only one who doesnt think this shoot is trashy or gross. I think its really beautiful! I wont take that back! I saw this when i was 15/16 and even then i thought it was nice

It sounded alright And for them to be such boring songs too. The skips from Love Sux.

I agree that visions is really her best (im sure specifically you and I have had this conversation before LOL). being made after her first two that were pure experimental Grimes, Visions still has the vibe of Grimes before she got big and before she started noticing what people thought of her. To me Art Angels is almost too cohesive, which is so funny to say since we seem to hate it when albums arent cohesive enough. If it had some of the looseness that the Realiti demo did, it would have been a perfect Grimes album.

I would honestly say skip Geidi and listen to Halfaxa as background music. Its beautiful and artistic. But youll find more single "hit" songs on Visions. Geidi Primes is a fun listen when i dont really care if what im listening to is messy and loud. But its still got some cute songs that i love like Rosa and Caladan.

IYLDWM: So is it "Baby wants a dance, baby gets her way" or "Baby wants a dance, baby gets away"? At first i heard the top line, but now i only hear the bottom line.

Personality Test: Lana Del Rey Song Combination
Ultra Violet replied to PatentLeatherDoOver's topic in Games
Woah i went THROUGH some shit trying to think of which lana album was my inner self and outer self. I chose Blue Bannisters for inner and Honeymoon for outer. That took some thinking I got The Collector of Memories -

Harry Nilsson has a song, his voice breaks at 2:05 Somethin' about the way he says "Don't forget me" I think she might mean the way his voice breaks when he sings at 2:05, and then also when he says "Dont Forget Me" in addition? Like, it's a seperate sentence in the song? She probably just tried to make whatever fit, while still having some meaning.

The reason i already think highly of this album is because of the effort that seems to have been put in so far. Lots of producers and collaborators, and also Neil, tells me that things will be different, even if it doesnt take me straight back to BTD-Paradise, UV or Honeymoon. I dont think it will surprise us with something totally new, but I think it will sound like a reasonable and positive progression from what shes recently done

Anyone listen to Electric Callboy? I saw them at Good Things festival. Me and 5 other friends were so excited as we are all new fans, so we got to the front of the audience and waited for over an hour for them to start. We assumed the mosh pit wouldnt be so bad as they dont seem like theyd have aggressive fans but BOY were we wrong. We all got split up immeadiately as the first song started and had to fight our way out. The mosh pit was not just jumping and pushing forward like ive been in before for BFMV, it was everyone being knocked side to side, back and forth, and it took all my goddamn effort to stay on my feet and not end up on the floor, plus my boyfriend pulling me back up when my knees buckled. I couldnt even hear the song because i was in full fight or flight mode. Safe to say im never going up front to the centre again! Im going to Knotfest next year and will happily stay near the mid-back. Any bad moshpit stories from anyone else here? :,)

If COTCC had more etheral production in line with the title track and TJF i would absolutely get around it more. The folk after folk and piano after piano done by Jack just doesnt hit. The title track feels truly experimental to me, and actually goes well with how Jack describes his style. That song ripples through my spirit and makes me feel free for real. Most of the rest of the album is boring bar music to me, sorry, i said it.

I dont really consider it preachy at all, but it seems like such a downgrade from the vibe of the original video she posted. It went from something raw and honest to something unnecessarily extended and cheapened. The instrumental is still so cute tho, and i stand by this mashup version

A sensible decision

That is so impossible! But ill try, based on those that I listened to most when it was released. Aint Your Right Nobody Asked Me I Blame Myself Youre Not The One Heavy Metal Heart I Will Because i was a pleb that downloaded from youtube, Kristine, Omanko, Boys & NTMT were the ones i listened to last, a few months later when i realised it was a full album

She kinda alludes to both themes that we mentioned, and where lana leaves gaps, we try to fill them and are probably always wrong. Between BBS and Text book, its so intriguing but so confusing.

Back again BBS - i thought it was Kinda wish I was with my father
