Has anyone mentioned that one Gramma video Lana did. All the footage was her own. A lot of it was taken in a trailer park, and inside what looks like her trailer, but the parts where she's in front of the brick wall I don't think those where in the taken in the trailer. I think in the apartment Lana and Chuck shared there was a brick wall. In one of the other Gramma videos she was in front of a brick wall (I think it's the one with a bunch of Axl Rose footage), also she was in front of a brick wall in the Yayo music video.

Ok can I talk about how obsessed I am with Lana's homemade videos. I've been watching them all again, and god they're so magically. I'm such a nerd when it comes to this. I don't really care that much about the footage of her, but the found footage she used, and the way she edited them. I love the choppy editing, and all the film burns. I love the fact she used a mix of vintage and modern footage. I really love how the videos capture the mood of the songs so well. I really can't pick a favorite favorite, even though I will say Video Games is the best. I've just been thinking about how amazing her videos are, and how obsessed I am with them.

I like Put Me In a Movie at the end of the day, and I get why she wrote it. Lana is smart, and I think she has a point to every track she writes even if you can't see it right away. I think tracks like Cola, PMIAM, and FMWUTT all come from the same mindset. I even think Lolita is a deeper track than just romanticizing Lolita.

I’m surprised at how many people don’t like the doin time cover, because for me it’s such a highlight of the album. All of the songs are so introspective and wordy on this album. Doin time really lightens the mood. Same goes for Norman fucking Rockwell too, but it’s just not as bop-y to me.

I watched a couple videos of Lana singing Gods and Monsters recently, and noticed she kind of goes out of her way to not sing the God's dead line. I thought it was interesting.

YES!!! Lana really reads too much from the twitter stans. If Lana wants to make an album for the fans, she needs to make it for herself. I do think she challenged herself on this album though, and I hope she keeps doing that. I hope we get more Heroins, Get Frees, and Changes in the future. I really do love Lust For Life at the end of the day.
