I feel this way about some of her drug references.

The second album is so good! I'm considering buying both albums when I have some leftover money.

It was about November/December 2012. Paradise had just been released at the time.

Music (& stuff) people like that you tried to get into, but can’t
Chocolate Eyes replied to Lirazel's topic in Music
Katy Perry's "Prism" album. I really like her other music, from Katy Hudson's gospel-pop days and her vocals for The Matrix album to her mainstream albums. I tried a few times to get into Prism but I just can't. It bores me. Not a big fan of Nirvana either. They were good and I get that they're grunge legends, so respect there. I just prefer Hole or L7 when it comes to grunge. -
[Poll] Renaming of Sirens/From The End/Quiet Now
Chocolate Eyes replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Lana Thoughts
I renamed and switched the "Sirens" songs that were in the leaked EPs. -
He's coming to LA this Friday and I'm sad I can't be there.

Eiza's latest album is pretty cool.
-
Some pop singers I like are Shakira, Selena Quintanilla, and Eiza. Mystica Girls (female metal band also from Mexico) Sin Pudor (Colombian punk band) Stream of Passion has had some lyrics in spanish and since their singer Marcela is mexican.

If Lana did some rock songs, I would feel complete. Something else like "True Love On The Side", or I could imagine her working with a 1950s rockabilly sound since she's into Elvis.

Delain, Epica, Amberian Dawn, and Within Temptation are said to be coming out with new albums this year. Ultraviolence... obviously.

"You smell like a million roses bathed in rock and roll" Interesting line, and the way she sung it is so pretty.
-
New material completely? This is something I might take interest in checking out. I wonder if she will ever record something like those "Backyard Sessions" covers in 2011. That's the Miley style I liked.

"Dark Horse" is one I clearly remember not appealing to me.
-
Hate to say it because I've been such a Katy Perry stan, but I wasn't feeling into Prism. I liked a few songs though (Unconditionally is one). I'll try giving it another chance.
-
I didn't immediately fully enjoy "Spender" and "Ridin". Because they have rap and I'm just "meh" when it comes to rap. I don't go out looking for it frequently, but since I don't dislike it either the songs did grow on me. I didn't care much for the "Match Made In Heaven" demo either. After a few listens I appreciated it a bit more.

Love at first listen! I missed out on this one when it leaked but finally came across it some days ago. The guitar gives an overall folk sound, the lyrics sound a bit romantic, and her voice adds a mysterious vibe. This song would be perfect to play while sitting outside on a warm afternoon and watching the sunset.

I forgot all about vh1 until I saw this thread. -
Questions for Lana - what would you ask?
Chocolate Eyes replied to Mommy's Mercedes's topic in Lana Thoughts
I would probably have questions about a few unreleased songs. -
What I remember: The very beginning of 2013 was when I fully became a Lana "stan". And I joined this forum a few weeks after. BRIT awards Tropico, and all the talk about it. Though my favorite is probably the summer leak and the beautiful songs I heard from it "Television Heaven, Angels Forever, Tv In Black & White, Daytona Meth, Heartshaped Chevrolet, Hawaiian Tropic", plus the funny "So Legit".

"C U L8r Alligator" is the only one I heard that I wasn't feeling into at first listen. I usually love her acapellas but this one didn't stand out much for me.
-
When I first heard her I thought she had a very good voice but didn't think much of the music. Now she has grown on me and Lorde kick has started for me.
