I don't think the person she's speaking to is necessarily famous. They just did it all for fame and seemed to have actually failed, hence "how does that taste coming out?" I also kinda like the idea that its a self-critique of her hunger for fame, like Noir's "I'm glamorous, famous, notorious, dangerous, but I'm crazy." If you believe that, perhaps she's singing more generally about how her desire to write the next best American record and be famous has kind of ruined all her relationships, from the early days down to Barrie and perhaps Francesco (who knows how she looks at that).

I hope it does have a dark spacey vibe but I was also hoping for a brighter colour. I based this off the Love video (cause that's all we got to work with). Are we 100% sure BAR is the album name? I have a feeling Lana will change it (like she did with YAIL when in leaked).

All this back and forth is rage-inducing. It's a demo, it's not a demo, it's 2 minutes shorter, it's not, it's coming next week, it's coming in April, everyone has it, no one has it. Like let's just admit we're not completely fucking sure and we'll find out when the good sis lets us know.

She sounds a lot more emotional/expressive in the snippet than literally anything I have ever heard her sing on, so it seems it will be a change of tone at least. Not sure about the actual song. Kind of getting Adele 25 + Calvin Harris vibes from this. 

The thing w heavy productions is that they get old fast. That's why most EDM tracks age like milk. That's why most pop music sounds unlistenable after like mere months. Honeymoon for instance might not be drowning in beats and samples and whatnot but its production is perfectly layered and refined and I appreciate how each musical element is in perfect harmony within the record

No, they ended things in November 2015. And unless they have both been secretly meeting, it seems safe to say that they haven't gotten back together.
I'm kind of glad they ended it. Their relationship always seemed like more of an extended summer fling to me rather than something that could work out long term. 

This was a very unusual tweet for her. Alienating Trump supporters (like AB) was not nearly as bad as alienating fundamental (as in hardcore) Christians in her fanbase, who can't help but relate any kind of witchcraft or paganism to satanism; for that type of Christian, the satanic stereotype trumps any qualifications one can make about paganism. For me her tweet is indeterminate. It could be a kind of a joke tweet, or an informational tweet (as in her tweets about random but important scientific breakthroughs), and until some interviewer asks her the question, "hey did you actually participate in that ceremony you alluded to on twitter?", we don't really know her real-world status regarding Wiccan practice. The fact that she doesn't try very hard to disambiguate the situation is kind of annoying, imo, but still overall entertaining for me (as I'm not hardcore Christian).

Cut the intolerance, I think it will help
