Seeing a lot of privileged Europeans and Americans talking s*** and judging my country (and Jews), thinking that they know every single thing about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is WILD.
While a lot of you read their news straight from influencers' instagram stories or from TikTok, yet I'm the one living here, in this situation, for 20+ years.
 
Let's clear some misconceptions/ignorant things I've read here:
Most Jews in Israel aren't white - a lot of us are Middle Eastern (including myself), so we literally got nowhere to go (my ancestors' countries ethnically cleansed all the Jewish people living there). Most Israelis want PEACE and believed in the two states solution (unfortunately some stopped believing in it since October 7th), and don't agree with our goverment's actions (I personally protested against the government several times the past year) Israel don't have any official responsibility for giving aid to Palestine (yet we've been doing that) Some of you seem to forget/ignore - HAMAS IS A TERRORIST GROUP, WHO MURDER THEIR OWN PEOPLE! on October 7th, they k*lled Muslim Bedouins as well! about the quote "Cease fire in Gaza" - every single time that there is a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine, Hamas is the one that breaks it, exactly like they did with the terrible massacre on October 7th The quote "From the river to the sea" = the erasure of Israel & the Jewish people living here (again, most of us don't have second citizenships, we literally got nowhere else to live in) Palestine got free in 2005 "In 2005, Israelis of the Gush Katif Israeli settlements were evacuated as part of Israel's unilateral disengagement plan, and all Israeli restrictions on internal movements ceased". Unfortunately Hamas got elected in 2007... About some comments of IDF soldiers on videos - as a former IDF soldier myself, I'd NEVER support hurting of innocent civilians! Most Israelis don't! (except crazy right-winged people) The Palestinians that are in Israelis prisons right now - are terrorists who tried to commit murders/bombings. Israel don't imprison innocent civilians, just like any other country don't. One last thing - the word "Zionist" is being used as a slur in the past month, and it's 
Zionism = the belief that Jews needs a country. after the rise of antisemitism we're seeing going on in the world, proofs why we need a country.

I'm nearly done with the book, it's very good. It's such a whirlwind of events. A few notes:
 
- The amount of abuse of power with the conservatorship is wild to read, Britney was completely stripped of her autonomy in the most manipulative and corrupted way. No matter how many times i hear about that period of her life, it still seems so bizarre. The way her Father/lawyers literally swoop into her life and say "We own you now" is terrifying. The conversation Britney has with her Father where he says "You do what i say from now on......I'm Britney Spears now" is fucking insane. 
 
- Kevin Federline is an opportunistic piece of shit, but we already knew that. I know she loves her sons, but i really wish she never had kids with him, he's a fucking leech. I am SO glad that pregnancy with Sam didn't end up working out because she doesn't need another money chaser clinging to her. 
 
- I can see Justins poor choices during their relationship being summed up to his lack of maturity due to his age at the time, however, i still think the narrative he was peddling to the media after they split about Britney's cheating and HIS cheating being conveniently left out of the conversation was shitty. He dropped that bomb, walked away and the media ate her alive. 
 
- Her family is hideous, her Fathers excessive expectations [on her and her brother] and endless control for financial gain later in life, her Mother being utterly useless and herself an opportunist [the stupid book she wrote] and her little sister being a spoiled fucking brat. What a bunch of trash people. 
 
Britney seems like such a gentle soul and the poor girl seemed to really struggle with having the right tools to deal with what life was throwing her, even from a young age. It's just people taking advantage of her over and over. She seemed to be looking for stability and balance in her life many times out of a desperate need to feel a sense of belonging and worth, and she just couldn't find it. I don't think she ever really had the tools to be able to choose correctly because her child life never offered it to her from all the instability around her own family. 
Throw in fame as well and you have a toxic machine that also took advantage of her when she was trying to hold it together during times where people were just tearing shreds of her dignity from her. It's awful. 
 
There were a few moments in the book where she spoke about her anxiety and feelings of disconnection to her life that really resonated with me. I've felt those things before, it's hard, i can't even begin to imagine having to deal with that when there's a huge spotlight on you and no one around you wants to help.
I have a lot of compassion and love for her, i hope she can find whatever she is looking for at some point in her life. I actually really love when she talks positivity about music in the book, she speaks really happily of the early stage of her career and also sites Blackout as a creative high point for her. I'd love to see music be a safe space for her again.

I hope one day she will add her old albums on streaming but it would be hard cause she sampled tons of popular songs in a lot of those songs that she def wouldn't be able to clear unless her new music pushes her up on the charts (gangbang, fresh meat, horny.4u def wont be put on streaming if she could put old stuff back up sadly)

this snippet came out when she was teasing H4U but then she dropped music and shared another snippet of the istrumental on IG (trying to sell the beat online) and i think that was the point That Kid bought the song and recorded his version. However the official Ayesha version instrumental leaked years after That kid's release and that makes me think that some stan also have the stems to the song.

Ughh I love Ayesha, and I always get so mad when they take her music off of spotify. (Like ik it's not her, but let a girl listen to Ayesha)
