honestly that was about all the information in the poem lol, it's written in this 'stream of consciousness' style which she struggled to read, however I think it is very effective at conveying that upset/panic attack moment when you want to say what's wrong and it comes out as gibberish. she's reposted people sharing her poems on her instagram stories so I don't think she minds them being posted, they're also on the wiki if you want to see all of them, these are the ones I think are about jack.

I'm pretty sure the I'm Not Hungry Anymore debacle is label politics and now that she's out of the label the chances are close to 00000,01% of happening. She probably gets torn because she explicitly said she was unhappy with the production (I'm not even sure if we got the fucking final song since the ramblings were that stans got stems and made their own version of it??) but saw the reaction was positive by fans; she performed it on Piano during Love + Fear Tour which also indicates she stripped down the whole thing, but also knows that fans wouldn't like to have a version that isn't the original so....

well, that face meant being surprised, especially because so many people were there. but ig it's iconic that it's become her most-known unreleased song and generally liked by the fandom and not controversial lyricwise (unlike scab & plaster or jealousy right?).

“Some asshole leaked it” honestly good for her for never backing down from the breach of privacy that leaking is. I am a big proponent that it commercially doesn’t actually impact artists (and honestly seems to help most), but ethically it’s objectively stealing. I would stay annoyed by it

The way The Beginning and She Looked Like Me! have that perfect transition, just like The Beginning and The End. However, The Ballad of Matt & Mica doesn't have a transition to any other song which is pretty interesting.

Dare I say something controversial but this album reminds me of if we lived in a timeline where Grimes didn't fall down the tacky, tasteless, AI slop "cyborg anime e-girl" elon musk faux intellectual trite dumbass pipeline and actually achieved happiness with a fulfilled life and then put out an album with her level of talent.
 
Like I hadn't listened to Magdalena Bay's work much previously until this album but I've liked everything I've heard so far. It has a really eclectic and well articulated sound, this album is really weaving in and out of the experimental and the catchy / electronic. It feels not afraid to be different and yet not afraid to have fun at the same time which I really, really like.

speaking of more information she did a podcast on her chronic fatigue, (nothing on new music, so don't watch it expecting that), it's so sad to hear how happy she was during the froot era then all these things started going wrong for her (starts around 7m in)

Tbh I don't really care for this poetry book at all, but I find it interesting as a stan. I feel like I'm just getting more information about her as a person and also more info on certain lyrics/songs. 

Is the poetry book good or is she good as a writer? Probably not lol, but it doesn't really matter.
