this fanbase is going on such a downwards spiral it amazes me
the best decision Melanie has even taken was to get away from people as possible
The behavior people display not only here but in more private conversation like discord group chats ... throwing any slur for fun while poking peoples appearance, sharing their private info,  creating fake tweets on their behalf, + the occasional death threat ... just to get a few pity laughs from their piers.
Y'all be fighting over OPINIONS on what a song (that y'all illegally got, mind you) sounds like.
I don't know who wastes their time more the "no it doesn't sound bad" or the people that come to her thread to complain about her, like what y'all expect? Praise?
GO TOUCH SOME GRASS AND LISTEN TO THE MUSIC Y'ALL LIKE

The fact that it's been almost a month and she still hasn't acknowledged the existence of these 3 songs personally is sending me

Blue Banisters feels like an opener to me tbh

We know Dealer is on the album (BOZ listened to it and called the vocals jarring to hear lol), so the album will be versatile enough to fit a screamer song imo.

I'm keeping my hopes high for the album but the best produced track out of the three is God Book
and I hope we get more of Zach Dawes and Dealer

Anyways I'm sure the album after BB is gonna explore a new soundscape since she's working with Mike Dean (and yes I know some are disappointed with WW but keep in mind that he didn't do much work on BB anyways and Lana probs told her what she was looking for) but yes besties let's hope we get news soon

I don't think that Lana wants to attract new listeners, that's why she's not filtering or perfecting her latest songs.

She knows she has a huge fanbase that buys everything that she puts out and she wants to tell her story. I have a feeling that this whole album will be like diary entries and that she will be praised for being real

Important stuff said during the Q&A
-Album was originally titled Pandora’s Box
-First recorded song was Man’s World and last was Goodbye
-Her favorite song is Venus Fly Trap
-Hardest song to write was New America
-She said the album cover wasn’t inspired by Natalia Oreiro; the bangs of her wig were uneven, so she decided to cut them to a triangular shape and liked the result
-She also stated she would never perform Girls live again, since it makes her cringe

I really hope she puts Pink Convertible and Happy Loner out before someone leak them. With what she said about her leaks, I no longer expect INHA to be released officially and that's so sad to me

ADIAML is such a cute album I'm still not over it! There was definitely something lacking in terms of diversity of songs and it isn't the best lyricism of her career, but it's growing on me a lot.

I don't love that the first 4 songs of the album had all been released already, it felt like only half of the album was new content considering it's only 10 tracks. All the more reason for a deluxe version  I hope we can bully her into an expanded version with PC, HL, INHA (the song that I got into a spat w her about once LMAO) and maybe even a cover or something? I've always wanted her to cover Kate Bush or something classic, and god knows she needs to flesh out this album a bit. I'd even take a remix tacked onto the end. I think I'm getting my hopes up a little too high

oh a cocc/uv fusion in a ww direction with more intricate production is a whole vibe we agree on.

i always thought cocc has great lyrics and great melodies. if the production had just a bit more elements, some electric guitars and more drums the whole album would’ve honestly been one of her best works. it’s still a very good album but it’s sad to think about how much more amazing it could’ve been with more productional elements. yosemite with some drums and strings added. white dress with light electrical guitars and more noticeable drums. a more electronic/drum rich dbjag with more bass…. even sound design wise she could’ve added those natural elements, sounds of sand flying through the wind, a small fire crackling, misty forest  sounds during yosemite, birds chirping in the background during nawwal and so on

Critics are going crazy... for what? If this was released by anyone else it would not be received this well. This is why I don’t fw critics or care what they have to say lmfao.

Edit: they’re not going crazy y’all lied.

Cannot believe CollXtion II is almost half an entire decade old today... still so fresh and strong. Truly should've appreciated the whole Ǖnsolved / Collxtion II era even more. Still remember getting so excited when she sent out Casanova with the preorder and we were all so shook by how she flipped it from a piano ballad to one of her best dance records.
