I think she really thought she was gonna win; maybe because people around her told her that 
She campaigned pretty hard by her standards. She did a performance at the Grammys Museum and visited kids there and stuff
So when it didn't happen she stewed over the unfairness of it all and that culminated in QftC, which detailed all of her grievances

Lmao yes just like Courtney Love and her daughter living off Kurt's 30 year old music, same for GnR, Pink Floyd and other 30+ year old bands not releasing music for decades and living like royalty, still being signed to labels and still touring and performing at festivals. I can see Lana doing that in 20 years and my 40+ year old ass buying tickets along with teenagers who romanticize the 2010s.

Let this be clear, I'm not not a fan of disturbing art - but there has to be a place in Lana‘s recent discography for a beautiful album cover. Im fed up with other stans saying that I should wish for a non-glamorous cover when in reality I'm just a glamorous person. Can Lana please go back to covers where she feels embodied, beautiful by being in love even if the relationship is not perfect, or where she is dancing for money - or whatever she want -without being crucified??????
 
 

Same. I was expecting 3 bloody songs about how she was treated by the media but it's not really, and I think we don't know much about this album in the end. She often changes her mind, her mind at the last moment and it could be that the theme has changed, or she puts us to sleep for and waits for the release to surprise us with titles of revenge.
