I don’t know how to upload an image but I DMed Qobuzusa on insta and they just told me they have 9/5 as the release date. I asked how they got the info and they said it came from UMG. I’ll copy and paste their message below!
 
“We got 9/5 from UMG, but big releases have been shifting ever since the pandemic. I would say that the album is still TBD with no secured release date.”

This is literally the exact what I’m thinking! Every piece of info we get seems to make this theme more and more believable too. I’m loving that slowly we’re all jumping on the Wizard of Oz theory (because it’s right lol)

Lana Del Rey: The Wizard Of Oz Edition confirmed

I don't know if this has been said before, but I feel like there is some Wizard of Oz aesthetics going on. While Lana isn't exactly dressed like Dorothy in the movie, I feel like Wizard of Oz & Chemtrails Over the Country Club share that 'chaotic' concept. Lana is also shooting on a farm (Dorothy lives in Kansas). Tornadoes are frequent, and perhaps this is where the Chemtrails concept comes into play (weather modification)

Yeah, like that time when she filmed a MV for BAR but the song was latter cut from the album and the video was reused for White Mustang 

Poor Lana. Whenever she talks to someone at  Interscope someone else in the room mouths, "I'm not here".

What if Lana finished COCC but interscope were like ‘no this music is too personal and you got too much hate for this in 2012 so we can’t release it’ which sparked the question for the culture post, where she dropped the 5th september date to try and force interscope to let her release but they never gave in so eventually she gave in and had to delay the album to change everything omg 

I just want to know... who put the music in the background?? Was it Lana herself?

i don’t think he’s involved with the video portion of this project - when Lana tagged the two in the comments, she used the photo camera emoji (?) before Neil’s tag & the video camera emoji (?) for BRTHR. I’m assuming he’s taking photographs on the video set to be used for an album/single cover or promo, sort of like what he did with West Coast, Shades of Cool, Freak, etc. x

I'm sorry but I'll take Neil's sorta futuristic, highly stylistic and fully conceptual vision over Chuck's simple and quite frankly amateur/DIY through and through approach. 
(this isn't really a Chuck slander btw, I've seen some of her work with other artists and magazines and it's honestly good, it's just her work with Lana that's super underwhelming and forgettable to me)
