Welp, for those who earlier this year worried about financial status, she bought a house for 3 freaking million dollars. I think that settles the case that she clearly ain't

thanks god people still stream BTD:P otherwise with HM she's not even gonna crack the top 20 list 

i did not know he was at the Dallas show, so i shared a roof with him for a few hours. 
 
ok so i have always had a thought that Lana may not be monogamous in her relationships a la "freedom land of the 70s." when i've read through Lanalysis and then the quick Barrie to Frencesco thing made me wonder if she is poly or is somewhere between monogamy and polygamy on the relationship scale. it sure would help explain how she is the whole world's girl

Maybe they had a breakup conversation where she thought it was clear that she'd ended it and he didn't realize that's what had happened...

am I the only one who thinks it's kinda strange Lana dropped Barrie after UV and then Francesco after HM? I feel like she grows into these different moods every year or so, changes up her whole game, inspirations and likes, and drops the old boyfriends for new exciting ones. Maybe it's just me, but I'm thinking Lana should date someone as complex as her so when she morphs again, he can morph by her side. or maybe she just a playa

This is so sad.. It is quite relieving to know the full story now. Hope Barrie is a bit more comfortable with his life.. He didn't deserve to feel so bad about being a burden to Lana. I don't blame anybody in this relationship. They just chose the wise way!

I only listen to 5 tracks at one point. Another day I will listen to 5 other tracks, etc. The songs are good, somehow as an album it's not really working for me. I wish there were more faster tracks.

I need to be in a particular mood to be able to enjoy Honeymoon, something that never happened with UV or BTD (although I rarely listen to the latter)
Many of the songs feel so long I can't listen to them more than once

After a month HM was released I barly hear it.
She is slowly falling in my faves list

Honeymoon is literally like the title. When I first heard it, I was completely in love, but now it just sounds tired. It's hard to express, I can't explain. 

It doesn't justify him preying on girls who are almost half his age and lack age experience.
 
Now time for my unpopular opinion: I like each new Lana album less than the one before it. At this rate, Born to Die will forever be my fave.

this is....amazing. i love the raw feel of it, it reminds me of a slightly more polished You're Gonna Love Me.

its because she does everything by her vision. She doesn't have a team behind her, thinking and working behind her back. That why i like Lana so much, although this era for me is a little bit boring. Too much Kieron Menzies and Rick Nowels for my taste.

idk if its an unpopular opinion but I like lanas voice through a clear microphone like on BTD and Paradise better than through a crisp vintage microphone she used on UV and HM (it worked for UV but for HM is was a little overdone and didnt match the electronic beats)

Those fans won't always be there for her if she seems so apathetic or if she continues to sabotage her own career by refusing to do interviews, refusing to let the BBC film her during her live Maida Vale session, effectively barring media from her tour, minimal social media interaction and refusing to do any televised performances.
 
Its been OK so far because the music has been good. However, if she releases a sub-par album and continues in this fashion, I would not be surprised to see her fan base dramatically abandon her.

I agree that one should respect other cultures but I really don't think muslims do that (at least not when it comes to them having to adapt). I live in Paris and the region is full of arabs and muslims, and even though the burqa is forbidden here for example, you still see ladies wearing them in the Champs Elysées ( now try to go to one of those really strict countries wearing short shorts and tight clothes (what Brazilian girls normally wear tbh) and you'll have a really hard time). Another example is Sweden: Ever since the country has opened its borders it's become a mess (Swedish people told me this). The muslims there do not want to adapt and instead demand the country's gov to do it. I'm an immigrant too but I try to adapt to French culture as much as I can. In that sense I DO have a problem with Islam (with all religions tbh, but Christianism doesn't have that much influence anymore and doesn't affect daily life and laws in most countries I believe). And before I'm labeled as racist, I'd just like to say that in no way I have a problem with the people themselves. The problem is religion tbh

Only the first part of UV keeps up with HM. HM is longer, if we cut the 4 weakest songs from HM it's better than UV. Wait, I cannot cut 4 songs from HM only 2 maybe.
 
HM>UV>BTD it's amazing tho that she topped UV. 

I'm coming out of seclusion to rant about the beauty of this album.  It doesn't beat UV, but it's amazing dark mood music.
 
BEST TRACK:  "God Knows I Tried."  Seems slow and dull, but is actually majestic.  The lyrics are perfectly Lana and also perfectly me.  I almost cried the first time I heard that "Let there be light, light up my life" part of the bridge.

the lyrics are so weak on this albummmm. 

born to die will 4ever be her best album(even tho i like AKA more) cuz its a collection of songs she worked on for a while, recording multiple versions with multiple producers, exploring the different sounds and lyrics. it also explores orchestral trip hop or w/e which is pretty fuckin cool.

if honeymoon had better lyrics, it would be her best album. i'd really like to hear an album full of remade/reworked old songs to sound like honeymoon.
