and im too sentimental to wear the shirt i wore to my 2017 show because i dont want to get rid of the lana energy stored inside the fibres 

I have a few lol:
- my rosary necklace that I bought a few years ago after being scammed so many times trying to buy it
- the LFL black zip up jacket with the embroidery (probably still my favorite piece of Lana merch)
- the LFL white top with the rose embroidery on the sleeves (the very first piece of Lana merch I ever bought!)
 
I love so many pieces from the Violet merch too, so many high quality and unique pieces from that drop 

the only thing i regret not buying is the black zip up and also wish i got that red turtleneck short sleeve thing

i had this poster for YEARS that every gay and their mother had 

i have this poster that hangs over my bed, and it was the first lana thing i ever got

On the bright side, it did cure my social anxiety because I had to make so many phone calls and take to so many Barnes and Noble employees

I've been really wanting to do this and make my own unreleased vinyl collection. Please do tell us how these come out when you get. I was thinking of using Kunaki but I'm not sure.

It was not my intention to bash the album just like that  Portals is definitely a step in the right direction in all fronts since K-12/After School, but I honestly still feel a little hesitant about the project as a whole.
 
Aside from so many intros and outros that sometimes do not add much to the tracks looking at you, Faerie Soirée and The Contortionist intros, and the vocal production in many songs, the album definitely has strong points and some career highlights imo (Tunnel Vision, The Contortionist, Evil, Pluto).
 
I'm definitely happy we got the deluxe because in the end I love all three new songs and it was a nice addition - I can happily ditch skip Moon Cycle, Nymphology and Spider Web, keep the deluxe tracks and not fearing an extra short album. It's just it's taken me longer than other Melanie albums to fully enjoy even K-12, back in the day I bopped to most of that but now... I don't, but I have hopes that it will grow on me with time.
 
And probably I still mourn for the loss of Needle & Thread, Fingers Crossed and the original Death, Garden and the original Void too. But that's on me because I was so avid for new material that I gave in to the leaks year and a half ago.

I'd honestly love a music video for Ocean Boulevard directed by Rich Lee as well. And if we're lucky enough to get a third video, i'd love it to be for Kintsugi or A&W

I didn’t get it at first and felt a bit annoyed that the flow of the song was constantly interrupted, because I just quite simply adore it. BUT, now I think maybe the idea was, with the self references many of you have mentioned, interrupting the flow of the art deliberately (and thus the possibility of getting lost in it) to draw attention to the artist being a real person beyond our conceiving of her. I can tell she feels strongly about this particular this video which is honestly so cool to see. 🩵
 

the flash of the camera at the end fades into her looking beautiful, happy, and alive at her star. some are saying she might be in heaven?
