Who could blame her for wanting more money and recognition though? Sure one could say NFR sounded "safe" (and not in every way), but it is still 100% herself, artistically speaking. It's not like she released an album full of Don't Call Me Angel type of sound.
She may be talented as hell, famous, etc., she's still a human being like the rest of us, I guess. I can't even see how all this could be a bad thing for her.

Not really about Lana more about the fandom. I think that a lot of Lana fans expect too much from her. Lana from day one has talked about just wanting to make music, other than that she has always been straight forward about lacking ambition and motivation. That's why I think she should just stop touring or she should do smaller venues (like bars and small theaters like really small lol). That's why I think she should embrace simple homemade music videos instead of these half assed over produced rich lee videos. It's totally normal for people to not like this reality. There is nothing wrong with 'unstanning' and only listening to her earlier albums. I would have 'unstanned' if she kept making btd/paradise esqe albums. Same if she would have released albums back to back that sounded like ultra. It's obvious Lana has just wanted the ability to make music whenever she wanted and do have the freedom do whatever she wanted. She's not going to stop vaping or saying fuck or using tacky 8mm filters on her videos or forgetting the lyrics to her own songs or putting too much on her plate and once and just forgetting about half the things she's promised she was going to do.

This is not meant as a personal attack on anyone, just some perspective on the vegan criticism in this thread:

Has Lana actually ever said that she's vegan/ against fur within recent time?
Cause otherwise it seems a tad unreasonable to project your own values onto her and accuse her of hypocracy.

You can of course still criticize her for wearing fur but remember:
     - Almost all chemicals, including those in medicine, are tested on animals.
    - Our houses, roads, hospitals and schools displace and kill animals as we build them.
    - Vegetable farming kills animals as well through i.e. pest control and harvesting
I'm not saying being vegan isn't reducing animal harm but that's all you do. Reduce, not eliminate.
We're part of an ecosystem where we inevitably embarge on animal lives, simply because we're alive.

In itself, fur is really not this totally different moral class of harm than the other many ways we use and embarge on animal lives through our lives (yes, vegans too). Especially not if it's sustainably sourced. It's just a very visible reminder of how we hurt animals and I think that's why it provokes a stronger reaction than say the building of a highway (highways are terrible for biodiversity and animal lives in general).
I understand that reaction but it makes the criticism seem a bit arbitrary and not well thought out.

That being said I find that real fur teddy oddly creepy as well, like it's gonna come alive in the night and murder me. It has that Buffalo Bill vibe

NFR is a good album, yall just are a really shitty fanbase who rushes to call a masterpiece everything that sounds decent cause you hate to think that what you like isn’t the best new shit

Like it’s a good album, not 9.4 good but good nonetheless, probably her most competent and genuine

Seriously though, a teddy bear made of real fur is shocking and gross.
But since I'm not a political extremist I have no problem with people not sharing my personal values lol
