I’ve been listening to Radio 1 for an hour now and they usually mention the hottest record in the show before Annie’s but there has been nothing. Not even another artist. (They usually say “Annie Mac coming later at 7pm with hottest record by ____) so I’m wondering if Lana cancelled on them and they had to rush to find someone new to fill her in therefore they haven’t said who it is.
 
Also, Nick Grimshaw just mentioned Annie Mac and that she’s going to talk on air after this next song and see what she has planned for her show. It kind of seemed like he was avoiding naming who was on Hottest Record too. I guess we’ll see in 4 minutes!

This is so confusing lmao is Hope Is a Dangerous Thing the song that’s going to premiere or is a new song like In Your car coming out, and HIADT is just a random release? ‘Cause if it was, idg why she didn’t release HIADT back in October anyway.

idk whats happening but im fucking tired of debating and wondering what the hell is going on... she needs to get her ass on that radio show and clear everything up because im losing my mind - i think we all are

this era is so weird, we dont even know if we're fully in the era yet, we got 3 singles but got no idea if we got the lead single

I don’t like having or hearing nearly all the songs before the album comes out, that is a bad move. It decreases hype and excitement. I guess their were no lies when she said ‘no hype under our covers’. Here is to hoping she has other songs on the album maybe as an iTunes bonus to bring it to 15 tracks.

The lead will be Cinnamon or Happiness Is A Butterfly, I'm sure of it. From what we've heard they're the most commercial songs from the album and maybe that's a business decision, not a creative one. Her managers are probably letting her release these songs as promo singles so she can express her artistic vision but will also try to release some chart-worthy song to gather some attention for the album  

But having listened to BIHI tho, I strongly feel like Cinnamon is going to be one of my favourite songs of all timmmmmmme. I've listened to the snippets an offending amount of times and hearing the lofi snippets on headphones makes me wanna cave my head in. Stanning the empress of bad decisions and questionable choices

I feel like Lana has became the very essence of who she was around the time of writing VG but the matured version of her, keeping all her history in check. I love the song a lot, I love Lana's voice a lot, and I think it's the best lyrics she ever wrote. When she gets high at the end it just makes me want to cry, her voice is so soft and sad in contrary to the lyrics who then seem fake, it makes me tear up man

this era is MESSY. which sucks because these songs have been brilliant. i wish there was a clear explanation saying “MAC and VB are just singles. an album will come later but these are stand-alones”. i think also this era feels long asf because lana just DOESNT SAY ANYTHING. it would help if she gave explanations.

Sometimes I wonder if people take BBC seriously when they put piano ballads and stuff like that as the "Hottest Record in the world" like lmao. It kinda fit with LFL premiere bc it was a more pop song. But hey. At the same time maybe it's good that they premiere a variety of different songs. Expand peoples taste
