I just don't understand why exactly her baddie friends have to go to NOLA with them... they're not performing. They def just want a free weekend getaway and they'll probably party on Bourbon Street til like 2 am on thursday night and sleep through Lana's performance in the hotel suite she bought them.

I think its overkill to do 4 BTD songs. Summertime Sadness and Video Games are well known, National Anthem and Off to the races less so. 
 
Maybe if she did one or two BTD songs and then she'd be able to do some more new stuff - Happiness Is a Butterfly and perhaps something off LFL? 
 
I do get what you mean though - if this is a festival then there would possibly be a lot of casual Lana fans or non lana fans that only know BTD stuff.

How does someone with a discography that spans 300+ written songs perform the same handful of BTD tracks at every single fucking show. I love you Lana but I don’t need you to perform the same BTD era tracks at every show when you’ve never even performed live some of your most amazing songs.. imagine her performing your girl, fine china or yes to heaven. I love National Anthem, it's one of my favorite Lana songs, but I don't think the song works in the middle of the set. If its not the closer then I'm not interested.

so what songs has she sung that are not ones from BTD or L4L? I feel like she never sings Honeymoon tracks, and only a few UV. Also, it's v random that she performed Paradise that one time during LATTM tour

I LOVEEEEE Off To The Races but sis.....1. give BTD a rest and 2. if you're gonna sing it don't be a lazy shit and SING it  girl sings like 40% of the song herself

I remember at the listening party for Lust for Life they could have requested literally any song yet they asked her to sing fucking Serial Killer 

Not to interrupt all this setlist discussion but I think I may have cracked the "self-publishing" / "worldwide distribution" enigma. What if she actually self publishes, hand prints, and binds a small number (less than 100 copies) of Violet Bent Backwards, which is what she'll be bringing to Mom and Pop bookstores in Cali, but then has a wide distribution of a more cost effective and factory friendly version that will go to places like Target, Barnes & Noble, etc. It would be similar to what JK Rowling did with Tales of Beetle the Bard or whatev, where she had the widespread marketable copies but also the "illuminated manuscripts" I think she called them, which sold for much higher. Maybe Lana, herself, will sell the personalized copies for a dollar, but then people will take it to Amazon and eBay for $500+ Anyways, just my speculation! Nothing she does these days make sense anyway so I could be completely wrong

Also can someone tell her to STOP singing Serial Killer? Like that shit was lit in 2013/2014 but right now it's just bad and tired. From all her unreleased material why does she keep singing that one over and over? Like girl...

It's a little basic but with such limited time and it being a festival rather than her own concert, I think that would be reasonable. Hopefully she would do all of VB, rather than the first two and a half minutes. She could always use the instrumental part to go to the barricade, which I think would be cool. And then come back to the stage when the instrumental section stops.

when she sings National athem as the closer with those ad lib vocals it sounds so gooooodddd. but other than that the filter she put on her voice during her tour was not the best imo. but still a jam but like id rather her sing Radio or like MDM 

The way she was doing National Anthem during the LATTM tour was so bad imo. It's not a good song to sing live.
