i personally think a lot of the songs on this are the best in her discography. i would not change much lmao. i would, however, delete 13 beaches and beautiful problems. they both bother me lyrically. i like them sonically. but i skip them every time. i think LFL's only flaw is a lack of refinement. but i tend to like the 'more is more' approach. i just thought that a 14 track album would have made fans happier idk why but yeah i'd keep the name Lust For Life too lmaoooo its my fav album of hers 1) When The World Was at War 2) God Bless America 3) Coachella 4) Love 5) Lust For Life 6) Cherry 7) White Mustang 8) In My Feelings 9) Summer Bummer 10) Groupie Love 11) Tomorrow Never Came 12) Heroin 13) Change 14) Get Free

if i ever "hated" a "musician" it is WILL.I.AM.... he single-handedly ruined britneys 8th studio album, BJ (cause it sucks) i cant even bear to use its real name........ he thinks he's such a fucking genius his shit is stale as shit and has only ever found success because of fergie's talent. every time she's with them, they have hits, and when she's gone, the black eyed peas FLOP. also carly rae jepsen her voice and face is mousy, her take on the 80's synthpop influence revival HAS to be one of my least favorite yet. and i've heard all of her emotion and dedicated tracks. there are truly a few good songs but................ idk she's overhyped if you ask me my boyfriend says she saved pop music, and said she's never recorded a bad song. but also couldn't tell me the name of her first album when i asked. i think there are so many more interesting artists referencing other eras without sounding so cheap. also don't care for troye sivan. or halsey, the migos, lil nas x, sam smith. yeah, anytime i hear those people i just become irate for no reason. its uncontrollable. especially sam smith. his voice hurts me. it gives me physical pain

i love lana and there are times i question her lyric choices. but i ultimately don't think i could change anything. but there's a song i'm obsessed with by Miss Madeline, it's a banger called "Platinum" and the whole song is wonderful melodically. i only wish for a slight lyric change she says "Write me a love song, make it an album I know this one could go platinum" Write me a love song, fuck it-- an album I know this one could go platinum" but i think it would have been cooler to say in the second half "Write me a love song, make it an anthem I know this one will go platinum" but who am i? everybody's songwriting is different. and this song still has a grip on me,.

so a couple days ago i said the track list was janky and needed to be rearranged but.......... im a gemini with cancer placements like lana and i changed my fucking mind and now that i have streamed the official album from apple music at least 8 times today i can confidently report that i was dead wrong. its perfect. bold of me to question lana's choices......... its her story and no one can tell it but her -

i thought this as well at first. but its placement right after wildflower wildfire makes me feel like it has earned its place. i mean the fact that the word "wild" is used a lot in both songs is part of it. but she mentions a "cruel world" as well in both of them, back to back. and it just feels like, to me, that shes saying "i promise not to turn into anything that burns you, but i also will continue to be myself and go wild on you mf. i'm gonna race down the freeway and call you until you pick up. not to say i agree with the thought that her music would be "better" per-se if she went that route, cause i think her music is great and ever-evolving. she's never too stagnant but also never toooooo adventurous. so i do think it would be an exceptional project if we were to get something in the vein of the trio interlude. and i think most of the fans would hate it lmfao. but you and i would be geeked the hell up. LFL is my fav album by her, but if there was an album that was heavier than it or the trio?! there would be probably no question. -
Music (& stuff) people like that you tried to get into, but can’t

the entire ultraviolence and honey moon albums. i was not ready for that version of lana lmfao. i picked her back up when NFR came out and its been a journey of exposing myself to the stuff i didn't like so much at first. i've realized that the more i think i hate a lana song at first, the more i can't stop thinking about it, and then the more i play it!!!!! its sick!!!!!! black magic!

i'm so grateful for your nice words, thank you endlessly for checking it out WOW THIS IS NEXT LEVEL this is something my boyfriend is going to be obsessssseddddd with. this is awesome

i mean she really is to be honest a good artist is someone who continues to make art they care about and believe in, regardless of other people's subjective opinions. she knows she's not for everybody, she had to learn that at a very young age. it gave her actually a very unique place in the music world. a place where she had literally nothing to lose and everything to gain by making some cool stuff. her last project was pretty fuckin great tbh. NGL is one of the best songs of the year for me. and i agree, being an incredible singer does not make the end all be all "great artist" to think that way must be a black and white sad reality lol. art can be so many things, not just the things you like.
-
bold of you to call people idiots when you don't know the difference between autotune, melodyne, vocoders, and just regular pitch correction. but for pretentious folks like you and people like my parents who say "the music of today is trash" simply because there is heavy pitch correction done. just for the sake of being different, defiant, edgy etc. if its not for you WHY CHECK IT OUT LOL? your opinion on what you think she should and shouldn't do with her art is sooo far from wanted. nobody fuckin cares bro lmao. we're just happy she still makes music even though there are rude ass people in the world who think they could do what she can also, it's pretty difficult to sing with "the autotune effect" and get it to sound good lmao. i guarantee charli does hundreds of takes for her hooks and harmonies bc its literally..... digital art lmao. her voice is an instrument and the computer is the player.
-
why do hatin ass f*gs always love to tell people to learn how to read lmfao? i read precisely what you said, it seems you are the one lacking comprehension skills. the memo you seem to be missing is that people love that autotune effect from cher believe, to any t-pain song or feature in the 2000's, to fuckin post malone selling 10 million copies of 3 different songs......... also lemme paraphrase what you just said for you. "please learn to read. i never said she should stop using autotune, i just think she should ditch the autotune!" you're just a bitter, rude, armchair expert of a human lmao & i genuinely wonder what kind of music you could come up with in the studio :/ if its not for you, there's really no point to come into a thread full of her supporters saying she should ditch a key component of her sound and brand. but you literally have no leg to stand on when you talk about what you THINK is going to garner her more success. because you contradict your own words, and your words contradict the facts of the music industry for 25 years. the autotune "effect" DOES work lmfao and you're just tryna be a hater hoe.
-
i don't understand how this could even possibly make sense pop music has been using vocal correction and more blatant autotune for like 24 years now and even MORE in the last 5 years with hip hop and pop being so closely influenced by one another. if autotune doesn't work to sell units then how is post malone the only artist to have 3 diamond singles by the age of 25 maybe you don't like autotune but......... you're clearly in the minority lmfao.

ur such a nice human thanks for even checkin it out

i love all four songs for different reasons so far. my favorites are literally in order of their tracklisting text book > blue bannisters > arcadia > wildflower wildfire i am sooooo excited for this album dude. -
good ones is really the best music video i've seen in like ten years bruh and the song feels timeless as hell my only issue is that the intro synth bit feels like low-quality somehow :// but other than that i cannot wait for what miss cheugey XOX comes out with!
-
wow this is soooo good??? thanks for making it longer! i think it sounds mostly perfect and pretty professional!

question for the culture.......
-
ok so i must say,, without being like rude or overly critical or a hater-- i reaaaaaalllllyyy did not care for chromatica when it dropped last year. a lot of the melodies and writing is really good, but i felt like the production choices were less than ideal for me. i appreciated that it was cohesive (besides 911?) but 90's house pop resurgence is like the last thing i was asking for THIS REMIX ALBUM....... TURNED OTHERWISE UNLISTENABLE SONGS INTO BANGERS (for me personally) i love remixes, it's super fun to re-interpret a song. but i love that this is the ENTIRE album remixed for people who weren't into the original! i couldn't listen to anything besides 911, rain on me and replay before this remix dropped. now i literally love every single one! (the rain on me remix could have been scrapped though) plastic doll, 911, sine, babylon haus version, replay, stupid love?!?! >>>>>> those remixes just blow my mind every time!!!! i will be listening to this for years to come i feel. this is my favorite gaga project since artpop
