I don't like Better Than That at all... 

I'm actually very surprised she hasn't collaborated with Lily Allen yet. Lily's been very vocal about wanting to collaborate w/ Marina, even tweeting her about it on occasion. I just know they would make something killer together. I've also been a Lily stan for well over a decade now, and would ascend to the heavens hearing  a collaboration w her & another one of my faves x

The way that all of those would be killer collabs 
But especially Lily Allen. I feel like they have such a similar way of writing, I don't know how it hasn't happened yet.

Fuck BANKS collab would be EPIC.
Caroline would be a killer as well, Allie X would be really fun, Mitski would be a perfect match with their lyrics and guitars.
 
Now, one thing I really want to see in a future is a brand new Charli collab. Just Desserts is bad imo, thinking about Marina featuring in a Pop2/Charli style song would be a dream.

I've been sitting with the song all day before making a comment and honestly I am pleasantly surprised with this.  It feels very Froot meets L+F in a good way. While the production is a little underwhelming, I love the melodies and the lyricism.  It's so much better than the fake deep shit on L+F. 
 
This gives me a LOT of hope for the album.  To me, this doesn't seem like lead single worthy, but still overall a really great track and very Marina. I'm ready to stan again

Lowkey I think her and her Clean Bandit boyfriend broke up (just me speculating) so I have faith that his production will not taint this album.  It's such a shame that Marina and Clean Bandit are amazing on their own, but the songs he produced for L+F were.... not it

This is why Marina doesn’t wanna live in a man’s world... 

That's what I've been saying since release tbh. It'd be a cute Rita Ora album, but it's not something worthy of someone who created TFJ/EH/FROOT.

I would also add that L+F isn't a bad album, per sé. It's just basic for Marina's standards.
You compare it to EH, FROOT or TFJ and you can see that. However, it's still better than some other albums out there
