Well, here goes nothing   I've had this theory for years..
 
So I have gathered similiar lyrics but did consider the "drive by sunday night" reference and the timing is also a bit earlier (making it line up with the release of Sirens). The difference though is that this crime took place in South LA. (We all know she travelled through the USA as mentioned in several songs and videos, I believe this was during her gap year. Tropico proves the LA theory as well)
 
The double homocide took place on April 6th 2004 (Sunday to Monday night"drive by sunday night" - For K)
at 2AM ("I was shot at 2AM" - Jump -> as in that's when Lana died, too, because she lost him forever because of the crime)
over a drug dispute (I'm not gonna quote obvious themes in her music ) 
Lana was 18 at the time (gap year) 
 
Two men shot a man and three women (witnesses) in the Nickerson Gardens housing project, two of the women survived and one of them was brave enough to testify (She died September the same year, and her funeral took place in St. Paul's Baptist Chruch ("Swinging in and out of Old Paul's" - Video Games)
 
Sidenote: This could be a stretch but there's a Willowbrook street and a Willowbrook Park right next to the housing project ("See the willow bowing" - Out With A Bang)
 
In July 2004 one of the men (K) involved in the shooting was convicted to murder charge (the articles don't say the amount of years but I guess 30 could be it) The jury split about the question of death penalty and the 'phase of the case should be retried'. (Not important but the other man involved had a different trial as he didn't confess)
 
A piece of information that is missing is when they decided to put him on death row because in 2009 a judge denied to reduce his death sentence that's all I could find.
 
K was 28/27 in 2004, so he does kinda fall into the older man type. I mean 10 years apart for an 18 year old is a lot imo.

I'm kinda pissed her album demos never leak. For example I rarely listen to Carmen on BtD but I adore the piano demo. I really wish we had some songs on LFL with only piano or guitar (Imagine Heroin  )

Why do people still care about the BtD backlash? That shit was and will always be unjustified. Looking back at the lyrics how are they even problematic?

I really wish she would consider doing this though. Some of us are either the same age as her, or older, and we won't live long enough to see her children posthumously release every since song she ever recorded in order to cash in. And that makes me sad.

I just tried to make a list but how am I supposed to pick 25 songs out of all those leaked masterpieces? Also I wouldn't want a lot of the songs to be re-recorded because they only work sung by our high pitched Queen Elizabeth (e.g. Elvis).

LMAO so true but in the end her music actually motivated me to live freely and shape my life the way I wanted to a.k.a. ask myself whether I'm in touch with all of my darkest fantasies   It's so funny to me how the media actually made her believe her music was depressing when it was/is so helpful. A song like Lust for Life ironically doesn't make me excited to be alive at all, because it portrays the act of taking responsibility of your life and your happiness as something so easy, almost natural (which it isn't imo). Like the one kid who always seemed to have a perfect life and positive outlook talking about how great it is to be on this earth. I like that she talks about that in Get Free though

But it's just an EP.. I don't care for Blue Velvet, Burning Desire and neither for American. The Paradise Yayo version is also not as good as the AKA one. And then we are left with 4 good songs and the LPs offer that as well.

I can't do shit. I just had plenty of time back in 2013    Looked through death row inmates in California, Florida and New York and searched for the letter K, found this guy who committed a double homocide and looked into the story behind it.

when i first heard it- it was sooo jarring. I didn't know wtf was going on and it gave weird first impressions, I've warmed up to it but it's def not a part I anticipate to lipsync whenever the song comes on  
 
also in retrospect I guess that was the song mean to compete with with Cola in terms of high notes? I thought we were getting another breakthrough vocal moment to make us gag and die but guess not
