Pang being 4 years old now is so crazy truly an album that's only gotten better over time  a classic and dare I say better than Desire by maybe a lil bit idk Desire has higher highs like Billions & Blood and Butter but Pang is just sooooo good back to front  I remember seeing her thread here right after Door mv came out and checking it out and immediately falling in love with her its so comforting following an artist that never fails when it comes to music, visuals, or performances she's got that mother mole

i've said something along these lines before but this fanbase is so miserable, like its the same thing every time she releases anything that's not AG_PC_beat_v426 because some of you see her as a vessel for his production and not an actual artist herself.
 
Anyways I like the song, i'm a sucker for a piano house beat and I really like Sam's ad-libs in the final chorus, but my one critique is that the song itself feels pieced together and a little choppy,. like the struggled to get the first chorus, post chorus, and sam's verse to flow right. I hope it gets the remix treatment I'd like to hear what some DJs could do with it.

Allie just previewed Black Eye's Ableton sessions and demos on TikTok. She confirmed the song was originally titled "Bright Side" and had completely different lyrics/production (kind of like Elijah/Aurora, Love Fucked/Eden/Lifted, Sorry/Vintage etc) before she completely reworked it

The amount of discourse and negativity surrounding this track is WILD to me. If you don’t like it, don’t stream it. There’s no reason to be so rude about it. Bullying her and Sam about how much you think the song sucks doesn’t accomplish anything except make you look like a bunch of spoiled, entitled brats. You’re NOT the main character. 
 
This song seems to be written FOR Sam. Not even just as a feature. I’m envisioning Sam finding themselves and who they are in the clubs and nightlife of the city and finding love for themselves through the love of someone else. It makes sense that Charli was on the verge of tears talking about the hate that Sam has been getting. She’s always been inspired by queer culture and living authentically.
 
It’s fine if you don’t like Sam’s music, but misgendering and flat out saying they suck is pretty trash. There are plenty of artists that I don’t seek out or enjoy listening to, so I don’t. There’s no need to comment on how much they suck because it’s all subjective, anyway.
