I can't believe I didn't know Godless was out tho. It sounds much closer to Godess (album) so this is a major throwback to me, I love it

The only one that sounds decent is still Pink Slip cause it actually has a beat and makes a good chorus and is catchy. The others sound the same to the point where it sounds like the same fucking song lol

I can't believe she's actually posting the *choruses* of the songs. Like... WHAT THE FUCK?? How can you compare these snippets to the choruses of Pity Party, Cake, Tag, Pacify Her, Cry Baby, Alphabet Boy and more.

godless is such a gem.. i know some people had their doubts about this album based on the singles (i can see why that would be the case), but honestly i had/have a lot of faith in her and from giving the early reviews a read i can tell this album is gonna be right up my alley. the anticipation is killing me, hurry up friday!!!

In literally every single way Charli wins lol. No one is ever gonna know who Globelamp is, she will live in irrelevancy whereas Charli is on the top of her game creatively rn, has the strongest fanbase she has ever had, getting great reviews for her music and live shows and has performed live with Globelamps precious Taylor singing a song Charli wrote. Let Globelamp rant for 5 minutes during her lunch break working at Del Taco.

Its so weird that this girl is like singling out Charli for a 3 year old tweet where she said she liked a Kanye album and saying that she needs to be vocal about support for Taylor. Where was Taylor when Charli was struggling with her label to put music out? Where was Taylor’s public voice on LGBTQ+ issues until a few months ago? Hold your fav to the same standards.

What song do you think will be your favorite based on JUST the name?
I think for me it will be If We Were Made of Water or Sawzall.

I worry about that, too. I remember her saying that the book is something that she just wants out there for herself, which suggests that she doesn't really care what critics and/or fans think of it, but I don't know. She's demonstrated that she's very sensitive towards criticism, most recently when she seemed pretty upset about people alleging that Hope had racial connotations.
 
It makes me wonder how she will react if the reception isn't positive.

obviously i don't want to be unnecessarily mean, but i honestly think in the event critics get their hands on her poetry she may be totally ripped to pieces and i think that's part of the reason i'm indecisive about it. not suggesting she hasn't written amazing lyrics or that critics matter and it's absolutely her right to bring out the book but i get the distinct feeling it could be really embarrassing

I don't think NFR will be worth the wait that we had. Yeah I love Cinnamon and IYC, but this album has been in the air for a whole year. Nothing is worth that long.

The fact that @@Terrence Loves Me is the person most dedicated to this album in our entire community (including Lana herself, obviously) deserves some recognition. First asking your psychic mum about the release date (didn't work out, but God Knows You Tried), now sleeping with hackers for the greater good and totally not for your personal pleasure... we had to stan!

It irks me how she's always avoiding to say the actual names of her albums when talking about 'em on stage. She's like: my first album, from my album that I put out a couple of years ago, my last one, this next one that's coming out, this song's from an older record of mine, jdhjfdsbfjikolujsdawpbvf  BITCH say the names of your albums so people that are not fans and are just jamming at a festival know what's up
