I think she's incredibly poised in it, strangely enough, and she explored that real well imho. I was confused for a sec, but, and w the rest of the videos she's released this cycle. Idk how to put this properly, the videos are actually still balanced, just shift the focus from the technicalities, and more so- I think it's supposed to be absorbed in full, as a whole, the animations are cute, but what she actually wants u to see, is her. It's strangely wholesome because although sure it's underwhelming from what her videos got us used to, but- this is her. The intimacy is what's supposed to carry this through, and it did. At least for me. 

Why I wanted to ask about the other peeps who aren't from California is because, at least for me, my intuition's been firing on and off in the vids for more reasons than one, bc growing up around here, it's definitely a lot more immersive in experience. And I fucking don't wanna sound territorial or condescending, but I think what she's doing is taking away the glamour from what Hollywood offers, she moves past it, and gives u an average free day of what it's like in LA. Not to make anyone feel unincluded at all, but it's incredibly local-feeling. This is what the culture's downtime in youth can be like sometimes. 

It feels like something's ended and I can't put my finger on it exactly. It also feels like she's accepted something about herself that she hasn't before. Damn, her life focus kinda just shifted, and I'm happy for her. 

In a more collected, but still collective sort of perspective, she's saying she's basically made it, done w it. She's just gonna live her life.

How vain some people are... Lana has never cared about fashion and those vanities since the beginning. Some people here really treat her like a puppet or a barbie, and if she doesn't behave, act or looks like they want, they scold her. Stop projecting yourselves onto her. PLEASE

When I read about the fans' experience seeing Lana and meeting her I get so emotional... Happy for you guys but at the same time sad coz I don't think I will afford Lolla next year here. Eeep I had the best time last night!! I’ve never seen Lana at a more intimate venue - it was pretty surreal to be so close to her. I’ve been barricade quite a few times, but the stage was sooo low to the ground & small overall and the barricade wasn’t very far back. I was right in front of the stairs in the center, so I was really super close to her! She sounded amazing, and yes, she did sing Carmen! She asked for requests & a fan had made the lock screen of his phone Carmen lyrics (she still messed them up anyway because she wasn’t looking lol it was pretty cute)
She came out after the show as she has been doing & spent like an hour with everyone. She met my group of people last, so I ended up speaking with Rob for a good while and he’s amazing. At first we were afraid she wouldn’t come to our side, but it was a girl’s 18th birthday and Rob said she would try to bring Lana over to us. While we were waiting for Lana I was asking the girl about what the first thing she’s going to do as a legal adult will be, I shared the first thing I did (bought something over the television bc it always said you must be 18 or over to order and as a kid I always promised myself that would be the first thing I did) & so when Lana finally came over to our group, the birthday girl asked Lana if she remembered the first thing she did when she was 18. Lana laughed and said yes, and then hesitated a bit before sharing that two of her friends and her went up to Canada where the legal age was 18 and she ordered a glass of champagne. She said she got her first tattoo soon after! I thought that was so cute & special.
Also during the show one of my friends I queued with asked Lana for a kiss and she said “I can’t I’m sorry, my boyfriend is here!” She kissed one of the girls in my queue group though lol
I also am so grateful that I got to thank Lana for how much the new album has really helped me through these past 4 months of hell, and how the lyrics in the songs make me feel heard when I’ve been used to feeling so silence. She signed my NFR booklet, gave me a hug, and took a picture with me! I’ll post the picture I have up of us on Instagram below, and I also have some nice videos I took up on my story that’ll be there the rest of the the day! & I’ll probably upload a full video there tomorrow.
I also met or reunited with the most wonderful people in line and had such a fun queue experience. I met quite a few people from LanaBoards, including @Veinsineon!
Also, I promise I’ll update this thread and the other two I got behind on as soon as I’m home from Wichita! Flying back home in about an hour xx
 

Question, are you guys against Lana wearing fur/leather as clothes and/or accessories or her buying it?
 
Lana has worn leather, fur and even ostrich feathers many times in past magazine covers and and even by pap pictures before. I see familiar faces on those threads and they weren't outraged then, and they're even gushing about how good she looked.. the very same people outraged at her on this thread about how much of a hypocrite Lana is, talmbout climate change and all that but at the same time consuming animal products as clothes and accessory. Talk about hypocrisy-ception. 
 
I personally don't support animal consumption especially as clothes or accessory not just for animal rights, for the environment and also for health reasons. Admittedly, I'm not really pleased with Lana doing that too.. but honestly, I don't get why people are so outraged as if this something out of character Lana does.
Lanadoesn't have a fixed personality and goes through phases in her life that she thinks is currently cool, that's why she contradicts herself a lot, why she's a hypocrite in a lot of things. 
That's why I believe her, doing shit like flying in private jet planes and wearing animal products and dating a cop.. isn't really something to be shocked about. especially at the end of the day she has always been a privileged white girl from an upper middle class family who once said ''I believe in the country America used to be.''
Unironically glamorized being poor,pedophilia, drugs because it seems cool as heck.. 
 
Please guys, if you're gonna stan Lana because of her art AND as someone that has the same moral compass as us plain folks then you're gonna be severely disappointed IMO. She just doesn't care. Plain and simple.

Earlier today, Lana Del Rey visited Overland Sheepskin Co. in Omaha, Nebraska, a shop that sells high-end accessories, outerwear, and shoes made from sheepskin, leather, & fur.

She is seen in the picture holding the Rex Rabbit Fur Teddy Bear ($259) and wearing the Azura Washed Lambskin Leather Jacket ($299).

Lana will be performing in Omaha tonight at the Orpheum Theatre.
